Happy TG....
I see now when I quote you that you've selected a series of "thumbs up" emoticons, but they all show up as angry faces...am I the only one seeing this? - Ogilthorpe2
All look normal on this side...not sure ?????? |

Yeah echoing the Thankfulness I have.
No one more than me realizes that in my life so many abd things happen that could have taken me down, but somehow I am here, alive, never convicted of any crimes, and able to say I have seem three cups in my lifetime and that every game now is as exciting as the rebuild that lead to 2010.
My father was shot & kiled when I was 15, and let's just say it made a pretty nasty angry young man.
Early on New Years Eve in 1969 my good friend Mike Weaver pointed what he though was an unloaded 25 mm at me (one in the chamber) and shot me in the head. The even weird part was the next New Years eve a really frigid one in Chicago, his other best friend and he drove into his garage drunk from a festive night, and Mike went inot the hosue while Billy wanted to finish listerning to Jethro Tull Aqualung…and Billy turned the car on and died when he fell asleep.
Anyway although it lacerate dmy skull in didn't penetrate, leaving me dingy and in need of blood but able to recoup save for the fact they cut a patch out of my shoulder length hair and my part line.
Lots of other bad choices that could have easily changed my path.
Dump reactions and implosive actions even into the twenties that also could have changed things from the way they turned out.
So I am thankful thing broke for me the way they did…am everyday I try and do stuff to reciprocate outside my comfort zone.
And I just feel there is lost more to do and fun to have…and am thankful I get to. My firnd Mike just got out of prison after an extended stay. Other good friends came back from the Vietnam war hooked on heroin, and never able to overcome the addiction. So many others did stupid stuff and are gone to.
It wasn't like I above their actions, and easily might not have been in a situation now retired, comfortable, happy, and thankful. - wiz1901
Amen....Anyone who thinks there isn't a fine line between right and wrong choices and life and death is wrong.
I won't tell many stories but .... 3 brothers from my neighborhood and I hung around with two of them all dead by early 20's....All due to drugs/violence and wrong choices.
We are all fortunate not to make mistakes we can't take back and should be thankful we didn't...I know I am.

And we should be thankful for those who help us avoid those mistakes - and take us back into their hearts when we do make them. |

I get a kick out of Canuck fans
They played in the weakest division in Hockey year after year and finished first easily making the playoffs
Now they are bi tch ing that because they are not in the East they are outside looking in at a playoff spot
Whatever
St Louis is plus 35 ....scary good as is our division that could see five teams in the playoffs! |

Many of the Canuck fans have come to the realization their team is on a downward slide. Couldn't happen to a nicer team or fan base. |

Anyone else excited for this game tonight? Certainly feels like the schedule is more staggered than normal, just because of the frequency of games on during the shortened season and all the back to back games. I loved having hockey on every other night (although my woman hated it ).
Dallas has been playing some really good hockey lately. Will be another tough test for the Hawks to continue their streak on the road. Expecting and hoping for some more solid outings from Kane/Hossa/Toews & co.
Let's go for 5 in a row !!! |

I love the BCHL. I attend several Coquitlam Express games each year with my youngest son (he's 7). It's good value for the family, I see lots of father and son duos at these games. - DarthKane

But I do not see a good set on their blueline. Goligowski even was coach's healthy scratch earlier this season. They are breaking in some young forwards. The older Benn brother could be a big scoring star if they had better players. Lehntinen is very good. Ruff is the right coach. |

Seguin and Nechushkin are going to be long term positive forces down there - so many good young players in the league now. |

Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes seemingly small choices we make can have a butterfly effect, to be sure sure. Glad you survived to where you are now.

Yeah I'm excited. I read Seguin is questionable for tonight, which is a big deal for them, since their scoring is top-heavy, lacks depth. |
