Pomminville, the one guy worth his contracts and we traded him. Another brilliant move by this organization. They should of traded Vanek and kept Pomminville. - buffalo 1
This team was pretty bad with both of them here...Pominville was probably as good as gone for free agency had he stuck around. Then fans like you would have female doged about how darcy stood by and did nothing
Face it, this team was nothing more than mismatch of broken parts with no leadership and no backbone. The only way to fix it is to tear it down and built it back up and that's what they are doing and this time we have an owner with the resources to keep said players for a long time. |

Buck stops with the man signing the checks .Its his organization.Im tired of excuses as a fan and this clubs done nothing but get worst under this owner. - buffalo 1
On ice product has. Your so far from the truth on an overall perspective though.
Arena improvements
Re-Aquiring of Rochester affiliation
New lockers and player facilities
Private development of webster block Canisus will now call it home
Local charity work
Player fan interactions
Increased scouting department+hired analytic analysist
Improved alumni relations....vocal support of the french connection
I cannot fathom how you believe the Buffalo Sabres are worse off since he bought the team. I wish we were better. Who wouldn't. But just because we are the worse team now does in no way mean we are a bad hockey franchise under pegula.

IMO Pominville would have stayed, but he was screwed wearing the C anyway.
Looking back I would still take my chances with Zads and Larsson |

Dunno about the others but my female doging was over the move to hire that imbecile pendergrast. I've since calmed down about it but... |

With the upside Zadorov brings I am very happy where we are at after that trade.
Larsson looks fine to me.

Pominville was my favorite player here, and I'm pretty happy with the return. |

You got the part about this team being nothing more then a bunch of miss matched and broken parts and no leadership right. I don't remember anyone reporting Pommer wouldn't of wanted to resign here or that he was asked before he was traded so I guess those are assumptions.Last I checkd he was the Wilds leading scorer a few weeks ago. Oh well I guess. |

Agree with all that but as a fan who lives outside of Buffalo my thoughts and concerns turn to what Ive seen on the ice the past 2 1/2 seasons. |

You guys aren't looking back far enough on the Oilers to understand.
Prendergast hasn't been around for this rebuild. But he was a huge factor in why we had to do it and and why the cupboards were so bare that all of our young guys were automatically our top players.
During his tenure as head scout we had 2 out of 10 first round picks work out. And his time as assistant gm was bad as well.
That is why the Oilers needed to go full rebuild.
You look at teams like San Jose and others where they have new blood that they drafted in the first round added to their team seemingly every year. That's how you get depth. We've had absolutely zero depth. And that's why its taking a while to build it. Our d prospects are coming. They just take more time.
IMO its a terrible move to hire him.... - Iggysbff
Her's only a scout among many. Just one more voice in the room.

So break open your piggy bank , cash in all your beer empties. Then you can buy the team and turn them into Stanley Cup Champs . LOL

Sounds to me that if Foligno doesn't get his S$$T together he will be the next one out the door. |

Id give him another year. Hes too young and theres not a ton riding behind his play. Going into a contract where he will be signed at a low hit as he really hasn't commanded much of a raise. Low risk to keeping him around. He has shown his upside but IMO he would find success with the same line mates but nobody has had much of a permanent place on the depth chart on our crappy roster. |
