No way Fraser gets a pay day, I think he'll look for term rather than $$ this time around with the way he's played. But he's easily our meanest defensmen.

Not sure why people are saying Granberg and Percy are ready. Granberg didn't look all that great pre season. I think they will be good, but Nonis doesn't give starting jobs to guys who should be ready. They will have to take the call up route like most.

Nonis isn't the one who gives the jobs. Rielly in the lineup is pretty clear that if you're good enough, you're in.

Percy will make this team next year out of camp.

Fraser will not be resigned, so there is an opening for bottom pairing defensive dman. MacWilliam and Granberg can both fill that role splitting time.

maybe they get 1 new vet and one of those 2 is the 7th D, but 1 of those 3 will very likely be in the top 7 next season. will help the cap a ton too.

Hopefully, RC can't keep putting Offensive D on the same line. I know we think we need Gunner/Phaneuf to handle the big lines, but some teams and the Pens being 1 have more than 1 big line and Rielly/Franson and Gardiner/Franson

injuries throwing everybody off.

can't help but look back to the period and a half against Boston where they absolutely dominated... just couldn't score.

Not sure where that compete level went, but they need to get it back soon.
