I also learned today that a 273 lb ovarian cyst was removed from some girl. Had to take it to the cancer lab in a (frank)in wheelbarrow.

Tampa is really going to challenge the speed of this team tonight. Flyers are on their heels.

One thing I will say, they seem to be trying to grind Tampa down. Like that approach, it should be one of their strengths.

I'm a P1 student so it's my 3rd year out of a 6 yr program.

I think this is gonna be a trainwreck tonight. I hope they prove me wrong

Tampa is playing Laviolette hockey, will be interesting to see how the Flyers react. Join the run and gun, or stick to their guns.

I don't like spending an entire shift on our end, even if it doesn't lead to anything dangerous, to finally get it out, dump it deep and get a line change and repeat. will never get any offensive pressure doing that. need to press play a little more

While I don't disagree, my gripe with that call is that it really didn't look like it made a difference

Berube is D first. I personally dont like that style of play but it is what it is. Too reactionary for my liking.

Although I will be the first to say this group is probably better built to play such a style. That speed, or lack of, is really evident in the transition game, and its not even so much the puck movement but actual skating.

Guss needs to sit for a few after that give-away to St. Louis.

I don't mind D first, i'd rather have solid D, but don't like doing it so much where your basically sitting back and playing zero offense or controlling any of the play. I've seen more of the latter so far in this one and want them to pick it up a bit.

I think more of it is the trouble handling Tampa's speed, or being able to match it.

Flyers better stop with these turnovers or it will be 3 zip TB by the end of the 1st.

also agreed, just gotta keep feet moving, stop with the dumb plays, and start passing better and they'll push the play to other end more
