Actually we are 4th in the pecking order and while I don't see Buff or Fla adding another D-man with that $. I could easily see Edmonton grabbing R KLESLA ahead of us...

spelled it right this time.

He's definitely worth the risk bc of size alone. Plus maybe a change of scenery would benefit him and us.....

At least I have reason to scan Twitter other than dismal hopes of Cappy getting canned....though I still check here and there

If the Isles traded for Gervais I would be happy at this point. We have gotten that bad. Also is Hilbert available? We can use him for the pk

Klesla makes 3 mil. No way the Islanders will pick that up. Although I am not sure how the rules exactly work on picking up the salary after getting a player of the waivers.

I hear Eaton, Mottau and Jurcina are en route to LI now. Our issues are solved.

Isles going to elementary schools is actually a very nice thing. I would have killed to have them come to me when I was younger. What a cool experience for the kids.

Hillen was not bad and not good, just decent. However decent on this team would be an upgrade on basically everyone of our defenders. I would take him.

They might make a play for Reese and Witt. Meyer is also in the mix.

It actually pretty painful to look through the D corps of the Isles in the past 15 years. There were some exceptions (Hamrlik, Jonsson, Aucoin, Berard, McCabe, Brewer, Ninimaa)

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I'm not saying they will grab him but given what's on the line for this team at this point, the ability to grab Klesla @ 2.8 mil for the season as opposed to acquiring salary via trade at the expense of picks/prospects might be too good to pass up.
