Probably not great, unless Kucherov really goes nuts offensively. I think he needs more seasoning in the AHL. It's nice that he's had a dose of early success here, but it's against Yzerman's MO to bring a guy like that (fresh out of Junior) into the fray. Stick to the process. The team doesn't need to rush him.

Great game to be at last night, can't ask for more; no Malone and the team came out balls to the walls, hitting skating and scoring. 2 important points and 2 more needed Wednesday.

Bishop has been lights out so far and hopefully can keep it up.

Won't be at Wednesday game but boys let's not let off the gas pedal, smoke the flyers.

Great night for Marty. Okay what's up with the PP having three playmakers passing endlessly doesn't work. Purcell needs to shoot from the position Stammer played, even on his first goal he was looking to pass and you can't blame him for trying to get Marty a hat trick at the end. We need someone to shoot from that spot for goals or juicy rebounds. I'm glad they made the adjustment in the second to clear their zone, it's great Bish stopped 37 but he can't do that every game. Take it and run and give credit to a good forechecking team like the Rangers. Sustr is playing well, wait til this kid fills out in a few years.

I was sad to see Conacher go, but I wasn't upset in who we got. Ottawa has not used Cory in the rigt way. Makes me sad.

personally I believe that this team lives and dies by how Bishop plays. I know Marty is a heart and soul, but Bishop gives the entire team confidence or destroy it by how he plays. when he sucks, this team sucks. however when this teams sucks he still stands tall and has given us a win or a chance to win even when we don't deserve it.

Conacher hasn't looked great this season. Then again most of the team has looked pretty bad. He did score that big goal against montreal last year too. There's still time so maybe they/him can turn things around. Having Lehner still takes some of the sting out of it as they would of had to trade bishop anyway, but a different deal could of been had maybe.

Looking one sided at this point though.

hey are not using Conacher in the correct way. Mclean is a good coach, but I don't think he likes Cory very much.
