I was thinking the same thing. Why was he out there so much during crunch time?!
Everytime he touched the puck it either bounced off his stick, he took a shot that was blocked, or he made a bad pass.
Other than that as a team the effort was there, just couldn't get the biscuit in the basket as usual.

Biggest dissappointment for me. I really thought he was a smart player but he is (frank)ing idiot he never makes the right play, has bad hands, and is a bad skater. Brunner i knew was soft and inconsistent so he isn't as suprising as ryder. He just blows my mind how bad he has been. I thought he was good. What an idiot I am

I think just about all of us thought Ryder was the best signing in the off season.

I knew that Ryder was lazy, I thought everyone did. I was happy he signed because he can score at least 20-25. That's all he's ever been good for.

I understand the laziness i knew he wasn't the best skater but I really thought he was a smart player. How else can a guy who can't skate score as much as he did? You have to know where to go on the ice and what to do with the puck when it is on your stick. I haven't seen him make many good plays with the puck or without it and I doubt he gets 15 goals this year if he keeps going the way he has been.
