Seguin is a 21 year old emerging star center with 23 points, Malkin is a 27 year old star center with 26 points. Their value in a keeper pool - is pretty much equal.

Slight difference here, Carter is coming off injury, Booth is coming in because Kassian has shat the bed, not because he'll add anything. Hopefully this is one of torts little lessons that Kassian can learn and come back, I thought he's been not too terrible lately - except the D blunders.

Fair enough. Other things to consider are the Conference and Divisions that they playing in; not to mention, the calibre of support players they play with and how many Hart, Conn Smythe, and Art Ross trophies have been won. All of which I would say Malkin has a big advantage over Seguin on.

That and dispite his great numbers people keep saying how much of a slump Malkin is is. I love Seguin but there's about a .01 chance he ever domintes like Malkin can.
