Are you really assuming the new network will not be Toronto based? - AlexF
It sounds like it's gonna be Sportsnet(regional) and CBC(Toronto-based)? |

I thought TSN signed a long-term deal with the NHL not too long ago? Maybe it's CBC that's gone? I can see Bobby Mac being disappointed since it's a Canadian tradition. Sportsnet has to be one of the 2 so that leaves either TSN or CBC out. I like Sportsnet the best since it's regional. - Nucker101
Except it's only regional. They don't buy national rights, so you can't watch a Sens game on SN East because its blacked out for you. I spent almost 3 years living in Calgary and couldn't watch Canucks games unless they were on CBC or TSN. |

Could they not buy national rights now though? They did buy "The Score". |

Lebrun and McKenzie are two of the best in the business.
Can't stand the Dreg queen, though
Seems like that's a common sentiment with non Leaf fans. |

I don't think they ever couldn't buy national rights. I think they were too cheap. If they were to go national they could have four games on at any time |

I do think Duthie is a good MC. That job is tougher than it looks and he makes it look fairly effortless. |

Seriously, they might as well just put Garrison and Edler out there for 2 minutes and let them keep firing away. - Nucker101
They don't even shoot it with force. Slap passes and wristers. I swear to god, all edler does is try to rebound the puck off the boards behind the net.
It's like the back pass on the rush. I don't think it's ever worked. Yet they keep on doing it. |

Botchford isn't TSN's rumour guy though, he's the metro-sexual trouble maker. |

Don't mind Duthie.
Gotta be a bit of a goof to do that job, but he manages to show that he's fairly knowledgable as well. |
