Outsiders was actually a good movie. Howell wasn't good, but the movie was. Terrific cast.

C. Thomas Howell is great in the TV series Southland...he has a small, but regular role as an LA cop.

If you're into Dylan, check out a young songwriter from England named Jake Bugg. Saw the kid live in Vancouver a couple months back and was blown away. He's an old sole considering he was born the same day as that Dbag Bieber. Worth a look on youtube.

Great list. Arcade Fire's first 3 albums are literally some of my favorite music ever, Funeral is probably in my top 5, and I straight up HATE reflektor. Don't know what it is. Decemberists are fantastic. My buddy's mom started a music blog geared toward moms and once got Andrew Bird to play a party at their house senior year. Pretty awesome.

P.S. Avett Brothers might just be the best song writers going right now

While I was sick In the hospital I was watching Led Zeppelin "Celebration Day".....I like a lot of independent singer songwriter/XRT stuff but Zeppelin is my all time favorite...it was awesome! When it was over I turned on the American Music Awards and I have no idea who the artist was or what the song title was........in the end the brief one minute exposure to whatever crap it was set my recovery back a couple of days. Pop music today is terrible.....

Just thinking if he gets an opportunity like Hayes has now in Florida. Blackhawks cannot hold on to prospects forever. While most teams have players in a similar situation in their system, even maybe on their parent roster, sometimes it is just a matter of timing for a player to get an opportunity to play a few games and show he can get some points.

I like his shot combined with his nasty streak evident every now and then. Still remember the cross check he administered to the back of an opponent in a rookies camp scrimmage. If only he skated better, but right now he is learning the hard way to be a responsible defensive player.

Morin is the sort of player that even if he plays only a few shifts in a game and doesn't seem too noticeable, in the closing seconds he is put out there and his excellent shot wins a game. It is these qualities that seperated him from a Hayes and it is why I hoped he could find a way to succeed under Q.

I realize that Morin may never make it in Chg. But each of us is free to cheer for prospects and I like Morin's game. Just wish he skated better.

As for the comment about hockey boards, congratulations to you ....you post so often you must be a very successful person able to peruse hockey boards all day long. I hope you better understand now where I was coming from.

Salary cap, one way contracts and the deep roster etc causing Morin to be the yo-yo riding between Chicago and Rockford.

But the only decent game he has had was last night and what did he play - 5 minutes?

Nobody is gonna give him anything but when he makes it full time to the NHL it will because of hard work and perseverance. They Hawks are going to make him earn it.

My guess is Tallon would have made the trade for only Hayes if he had to...

This way he got a player back in Olsen who he always liked and swallowing the money doesn't seem quite as bad.

I think the player he feels could play there now is Hayes, but Olsen could get a shot sooner than later as soon as some others hit the road.

It was a good deal for both young guys...

Others moved past Olsen and Hayes had sponsorship here and still couldn't hold a lineup spot.
