Any word on Rozsival's status? - SimpleJack
I think nothing is wrong out of the ordinary....Another shipment of duck tape and glue should be in soon and then a B-12 shot and he will be back.

Making music. http://thetalkhouse.com/reviews/view/lou-reed And this is just about his latest album. He has 3 other legitimately great hip hop albums. You can dislike him (I do), you can dislike his style of music (personal preference), but to say he's untalented is insincere. Guaranteed you ask any other major musician alive and they'll tell you Kanye's incredibly talented at making music. |

By my calculations that lineup reads as three scoring lines to me and damn the defense.
Say what you want about Handzus, but the dude wins faceoffs. Getting the puck to Kane usually is a good thing. - Return of the Roar
10-19-81 face the best competition in the league and dominate the puck. It's two scoring lines and two checking lines (the zone starts are very telling). It just happens that one of the checking lines also has world class talent |

I don't know if it's so much ADD as it is feeling out who fits best with who. I know last season we didn't see nearly as much line combo tinkering going on, but I'm sure that was due to the idea that Q was pretty comfortable with who he had and where they fit. - EKolb13
To be honest...i don't really worry too much about who's playing with who. It's interesting from a news perspective, like when a beat writer tweets it, so that's why i passed it along.
As far as trying be the hot stove line mix and matcher...that ain't ever gonna be me.
Many of these dudes have been playing together for years, so i trust them to adapt to whatever mates they've been thrown together with.
I don't like how Q is so bloody hands on with the constant tinkering, but he obviously knows what he is doing. And i do like the way he'll load up with 19, 88 and either 81 or 10 at certain times, usually when the chips are down. |

He took a shot in the southern regions in the 3rd period and was moving quite gingerly during his next shift. Wonder if a d-man might be summoned to fill in if 27 can't go tomorrow. |

Tazer and Hoss play defense as well as any two forwards on the club and Saad and Kane have made great strides in that area as well. Think all 4 lines can play a solid 2 way game.

I'll defer to our Rockford contributors for who they'd prefer. I'd opt for Dahlbeck based solely on him probably being the most NHL ready. |

I know its all opinions and such when it comes to music. But werent a couple of Mr. West's biggest hits ripped off from older hits of ACTUAL musicians? Im pretty sure one of his biggest hits was based off of an Elton John song (not lyrically, just the piano part). I dont know, people can defend hip hop artists all they want but they arent nearly as talented as those defenders think they are. Good at marketing an image and making money? Yeah...but that has nothing to do with music. But in the end, its all about entertainment so, to each their own. |

NBC sports channel/NHL Network has games on Tuesday and rivalry games on Wed and then HNIC games on Saturday - 2 ....plus Hawks.
Also an occasional game shown on NHL network/CSN....After NFL, games on the weekends during the day too.
That's a lot of games and I love watching but don't have much more time to watch ....Most people married/family would probably agree.
I think the reason you don't realize how much is on is because they do conflict with Hawk games. So then it would seem like not as much.

I doubt he stole something from Elton John, because EJ has worked with Kanye on songs before, and I don't see that happening if he stole from him. Obviously its to each their own, but song writing and album direction (how an album sounds all together) are certainly musical talents. Have you ever listened to a whole album by the guy? I'm not saying you should because people like what they like, but I think its pretty presumptuous to say a whole genre of artists aren't as talented as other musicians. There's always detractors to new styles, I'm sure when rock and roll started people said they weren't as talented as the more classic musicians that came before them. There were people, and still are, who don't think the Beatles were talented, same with Bob Dylan. |

Stanton took an L...but always good for a man to know he can still go a few rounds.
Wish the Hawks were more pugilistic, but i'll sacrifice scraps for Cups anyday.
Phuck Beach. PERIOD. POINT. BLANK. Wasted enough time waiting for him to 'get it.'
Not sure about Matthias...but one guy i've always liked and he's on the Florida roster right now is Scotty Upshall. LOVE THAT LAD. - philco28

Im sure everyone saw it, but either way it cracked me up last night when on the powerplay Keith wound up and fully blasted a slapper DIRECTLY into the nearest edmonton players shin pads. Haha, i called it before he released the shot but it made me laugh. |

Meh, no i have never given him or any hip hop artist a chance. Like you said, not my thing. I also dont think Bob Dylan is very good haha. I guess i cant really talk though because my favorite band is GWAR. I find them to be 10 billion times more entertaining then any hip hop artist period. Not trying to change anyones mind, because no one is gonna change mine. |
