That may only be one of a couple: I've read they're looking to more than double the Canadian TV revenues - from something like $170MM per year to approaching $400MM per year.

Buddy I get beat up on these boards because I don't think the Hawks have enough of that to defend their elite players when the Reeve's & Backus's of the league start their Shi t. I guess seeing Q's way of looking at it is that if you have the puck you won't be checking a whole lot. I will say this that when the Hawks are 100 % healthy there aren't many teams who match up to them. I'm gonna ask the big question, Kyle Beach, any improvement?? and if Dale is wheeling & dealing what about snatching up that big kid Matthias from him as more of the down the road center once Zues calls it a day? 6'5 ,220??? yes/no?

I watch the Hogs a lot on Hockey Stream and in regards to Beach, no. He's gone once his contract expires which I believe is at the end of this year.

According to Ecklund, it's $5.2B with CBC and Rogers for 12 years for the English language rights - $433MM per year, much more than double (I think) what it was.

It likely goes up higher, that is just the Tv deal revenue component. The regular revenue will be much higher with all the outdoor stuff and general solid standing of the league.
