The only good thing about Brookbank playing forward: developing some skill and confidence in handling the puck including passing. But ofc, that takes a spot from someone else who might need the development time and could possibly hurt line 3 or 4 chemistry.

It's an iffy call and usually only called on a breakaway or partial breakaway...but in this case, Saad had beaten Ference, and was tripped before he could get the shot off and he was in a point blank shooting/deking position.

It's an iffy call and usually only called on breakaway or partial breakaway...but in this case, Saad had beaten Ference, was in a clear scoring position and was tripped before he could get the shot off and he was in a point blank shooting/deking position.

I agree with this. The call could have been made, but it never seems to happen unless it develops like a breakaway, and looks like one from a fan perspective.
