VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Chicago Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa returned to Chicago on Saturday for what coach Joel Quenneville called "a family matter."

The veteran winger had just returned to the lineup during the second contest of the Hawks' seven-game road trip after missing three games in a row with a lower-body but will not play against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night. Quenneville would not speculate on when Hossa would rejoin the team. On the family situation, Quenneville said, "I think it’s okay but I don’t know yet."

Josh Harding is listed as day-to-day with a hamstring injury and he won't play Monday.
Darcy Kuemper will remain the team and serve as Niklas Backstrom's backup. Harding had spasms in his hamstring area in late October, which resulted in Backstrom starting back-to-back contests against Chicago.

Thought that was Backstrom.
