The standings only show the last 9 games? You do realise this roster is vastly different than 2 years ago, right?

We're beyond both the 9 and 10 games marks, but carry on sport. Keep the troll alive. Hate hard.

I am unimpressed with his work

I'm dead serious. It might not be top 5, but I think that's fully possible. Top 10 I think is fully likely. And there is no way Bobby Ryan sticks with the Sens. There is absolutely no reason for him to do so. None.

Bobby Ryan. It's essentially a two year rental.

Well the lucky thing about Ryan for the Sens sake , he's like a Honda or a Hyundai, they always have good value. Ottawa would get good value for Ryan if they ever had to trade him.

Not at all! Kessel goes through slumps......have you not watched a leafs game in the past 4 years?
- Fakepartofme

No, there is some truth to what he says. But seriously, I'd hope that replacing any guy who's been in the NHL for a few years with guys that don't play centre, or rookies fresh from the AHL, would hurt your lineup. If it didn't, there would be a major problem.

Essentially all that really implies is that Bozak is better than a rookie from the AHL.

Not a huge accomplishment. Rather meaningless.

The Leafs haxe OBNVIOUSLY proven that corsi is bull. Leafs get outshot EVERY game yet as of today they are 11th overall in the league & 2nd in their divison. If corsi had any merit to it, than shouldn't the Leafs be buried for good in in the bottom 5, preparing for a lottery pick? Don't know why fans are obsessed with Corsi. That's why all the trolls are mad at the Leafs, cause we prove their precious corsi to be nothing but horse crap.
- GCHonda

If the Corsi/Fenwick idiots were half as smart as they think they are, they would be looking at modifying their theory to account for situations where it isn't predictive or indicative.

What if the Sens pay him, and he likes Ottawa and likes Maclean?

I don't think you can just assume he is gone when his contract is up.

Not if he walks in a year and a half. What are they gonna get if they trade him at the deadline next year? Nowhere near what they paid.

He's a trolling idiot. Bozak is a good 3rd liner, being paid way too much.

I think it's highly likely. He's gonna get paid no matter where he goes. In fact, with taxes and such, he'll bring home more, net, in the US. And I see Ottawa having a hard time paying him, let alone paying him more than anywhere else. They don't have the budget to ice a contender, so if he wants to be on a winner, he'll go elsewhere. The city itself isn't really a draw. Especially after just leaving California. He's American, there isn't that. There really is no reason for him to stay.

I wonder how many less negative Bozak comments would be on this board if HH didn't continuously try to use "selective stats" which are at best questionable to support his boy toy.... As painstaking as this was I went through the boxscores and here are the stats for JVR and Kessel's line through the 8 games in which Bozak has been hurt and JVR has NOT played centre

8games 14goals 12Assists and +22

I case your math skills are as bad as your ability to put forward a non biased argument that is 26 points in 8 games meaning all 3 players on the line averaging over a point per game not just 2.....

Nice try though

I agree. I'm just saying, there is some merit in saying that the lineup suffers by replacing him with an AHLer.

I think it's fair to "assume" something that is likely to happen.
It's unlikely that Ottawa will be able to keep him so "assuming" he won't be there when contract us up is appropriate.

It was a good old fashioned poop kicking. I hate when City win

(PS: Fastest premier league goal was after 9.7 seconds back in '99)

It's entirely possible he would decide to stay, but if you sit down and think about it objectively, it's just too easy to think of him being on his way out after next season.

Like I say, I just don't see much reason for him to stay. I see a lot of reasons for him to leave.

You make a fair point regarding the issue if they can resign him. However, how likely is it that Murray would trade for him without knowing all the salary issues your bringing up? He knows much more about all that than us here.

I was worried if he'd want to leave for the States when his contract was up, but we don't know.

It's not as black and white as your making it. We'll just have to wait and see. He may leave, he may not.

Why? I don't think it's any coincidence it was shortly after Alfredsson jumped ship. Proverbial gun to head.

I'd also say that playing way over their head for a time gave them the idea their team was better than it really is.
