I'm surprised that the Wings/Sens game didn't get to overtime. That was a big game to see who wins the Jacques Lemaire trophy, for most loser points. The Wings lead, followed close by Ottawa and New Jersey. |

James Reimer now leads the NHL with a .947 save percentage.

Refs missed at least 3 calls on us. Clarkson worth 5m this game. Phaneuf is a beast. Bernier is better than the Reimer of last year, but so is Reimer. - Drapz
Probably the best summation of our goaltending situation.
Reimer raises his game a notch in every circumstance. |

...another guy who I don't understand why he is the subject of trade rumors.
What is wrong with having two good goalies. Maybe not top-5 in the league guys, but they are probably both above average.
Find 2 good stay at home Dmen on expiring contracts at the trade deadline. Leave the rest of it alone. The Leafs are not going to win a cup so let the good players on a young team continue to develop.

Just makes his trade value soar. I wonder if all of those Islanders fans who shot down the idea of Reimer for Ryan Strome are having second thoughts. - PrinceLH
If he keeps this up, I would want a helluva lot more than Strome for Reimer. I'm sorry, but at this point, you can say James Reimer is not just a legitimate number 1, but a very good one at that.

The shootout is an embarassment to the league.
I don't even think the fans find it all that exciting.

Last Saturday he won he got (frank)ed in the next game. Don't think that will happen again. - Leafland
They have four games next week, culminating in a back-to-back Friday/Saturday.
Give Reimer the first three, no matter what. Bernier gets Saturday against the Habs. |

I feel like a moron for thinking that was going to be a good 1A/1B situation. Apparently, this is what a true 1A/1B should look like. |

Where they play with a beach ball in practice just to keep goalie moral up. |

He just about caused a goal in OT. Although I have idea why they'd be playing him and Gardiner together. |

The tandem that was supposed to be so good that neither guy could qualify for the Vezina because both were so good. |

Its a coin flip at best and shouldn't give you 50% of a win but you can't say its not exciting to most people. Making regular time wins worth 3, 10 minute OT and shoot out worth 2 and the OT loser point is the way to go. |

Tough OT for him, but the first period he looked like he was in fast forward and everyone else rewind. |
