You make a good point about our developing players its been pitiful recently. But uhh ya forgot about the Parise. He turned out alright If your theory was absolutely true than guys like Brunner and Lokti would be getting praised by us right now as they both have been giving golden opportunities to produce with good players and pretty skilled guys. But what happens when the play with Jagr and Elias? They can't produce or generate much because they suck in the d zone and struggling to move the puck up the ice cleanly and maintain puck possession. When you can't do that it's near impossible to score which is what we have been witnessing. You need to give skill a little bit of a leash but when they can't do the simple things like breakout, cycle, fore check, and be strong on the boards they can't be trusted game in and game out. Hell even shift in and shift out. Your not going to score a goal or even set one up every game but one thing you can do every game is play solid d and not hurt the team. I'll take the safe boring players over the marginally skilled forwards.

Ever since pre season I was saying Brunner is nothing more then a flashy skater. I expected more from Ryder but both guys are third line scorers and we needed to add second line scorers guys who can create their own offense occasionally and not breast feed off our best players to get the points. The two of them likely aren't going anywhere so I would just throw them on the third line and forget about them because I really don't want to think about them. To me Ryder is exactly like D'agastini has a hard good shot but can't do (frank) all else. Loktionov is small and crafty like Sullivan but useless and Brunner well Brunner isn't much like Poni other then they are both useless.

I don't think anyone is against it. It's just not going to happen. That's all.

For sure that's whole different argument. Have to think Lou does something though he can't accept not pushing for a playoff spot since he (frank)ed us on our pick this year. It's just in him to never say die on a season as well.

Dead on about Brunner unless something all of sudden clicks in his head I expect nothing from him. Ryder has been huge disappointment he is just not a smart player I really thought he was cause i knew he wasn't the best skater. We already barely play the 4th line as it is do we barely play the 3rd now too? Lokti wouldn't be as frustrating if he was winger. But with him being a center the way he plays and how little he produces infuriates me. I feel the same with Gio at center too not that he pisses me off like Lokti as I don't expect any production but I just can't help but think he would be so much better as a winger.

He needs to come out of his cave and take a look at the strong teams in the league. They score goals and do so with ease. When was the last time a team one a cup on nothing but defense ? Boston might count under that category but they still had a hell of a lot more offense then we do.

I would play Carter and Bernier a hell of a lot more then Brunner and Ryder pick your poison between Gionta and Loktionov though

The best teams are all huge and play great two way hockey. (frank)ing wish we could steal a few guys from the blues, kings, and hawks.
