Meh ryders better than them come on now. Those guys (frank)ing sucked, he does too but he's providing slightly more. We have to start sacrificing cows, chickens, whatever in hopes Clowe reverses the clock and becomes 21 again. Seriously I doubt he even comes back bet will read he hasn't skated since last week and is status quo soon enough. (frank) Brunner guys a douchebag how does he become this pathetic after looking sort of useful in the beginning. He can't even get a shot on net now wtf happened. Ideally i'd like to see us trade Lokti brunner for a foward who fits better into our system. I would love to add Mike Fisher. Not the most prolific scorer but he is a solid center and can chip in a little offense.
- NickA

He would bring that John Madden Presence always liked Fisher Madden and Vermette for those defensive roles but we already have Zajac and Henrique who are two way guys more then anything else. Also Fisher isn't leaving Nashville because of Carrie Underwood she was the reason he left Ottawa in the first place

Was just looking at buffalo's roster I'd think a few of there guys would be available soon. Moulson, Ennis, Ott, and Stafford. Not sure I love any of them but would think about it.
- NickA

Last year I would of slapped Lou for getting Stafford but after I have watched Ryder and Brunner I am just about up for anything

I'm up for anything too. As long as the Adams, Gelly and Merril stay. And of course Elias, Jagr, Broduer and Schneider. Other than that anyone can go basically. There are some guys I'd like to keep as they fit into our system and wouldn't be easily replaced but would part with if it was a clear upgrade.

You would rather watch Brunner keep playing over trying any of those guys? Moulson is twice the player brunner is. I'd even rather Ott over him at least he plays with some grit even if he is dirty at times. He comes up big in pressure situations as well.

We are defensive minded team you might as well fully commit to it. Right now I feel we have too many guys who don't fit our mold of what we want to be. Lokti, Brunner, Teddy, and Ryder. Ideally I would only want 1 of 4 in at any times. We need good two way players not soft, average skilled guys. Ryder is the best of the bunch as he occasional will go to the dirty areas but is poop in his own end, When you struggle to score as we do I put a premium on guys who d are solid two way players. We have to win games 1-0, 2-1, 3-2. I understand wanting skill but when the skill is limited and hurts you defensively it is not worth it at all. I may be being hard on Lokti he has been better in the D zone as of late but his faceoffs are pathetic and we have seen how huge it is when you can control the puck from the drop of the puck rather than chasing it just to gain possession.

Maybe Buffalo won't be asking for the moon for all their players now that Darcy is gone. He would ask for a first and a decent prospect for Stafford who is worth about a 7th the way he has played the last 2 years.

he may be the only one I wouldn't really want at all. Basically a clone of Brunner and Ryder. At least the others are lefties.

Moulson was a product of JT. Ott is a fagit

Your really think Moulson isn't better than Brunner!? Come on now obviously Moulson wouldn't score 30 for us but he would be better than this (frank)ing swiss bumhole we signed. He is horrendous at everything. You don't score 30 goals in the NHL and completely suck.

I keep thinking back to Jagr's comment at the beginning of the season when he said the Devils system was very hard to learn.
So i figured that's why Lokti, Brunner , and Ryder may be struggling.
But now i'm thinking that these guys don't fit our system and probably never will, and that's ok as long as Lou realizes that and moves on from them.
Our system is not for everybody, especially the lazy. You have to be willing to work hard and grind it out every shift and maybe these guys just can't grasp that.

I don't mind that while we lack talent but it will be tougher for guys like Boucher or any offensive top prospect we might have to play well in that type of system and makes it harder to get more skilled in the future.

Well hopefully they're teaching Boucher how to be a more complete player down in Albany. That's why our system has worked well throughout the years because we develop our players through our farm system and don't go after many free agents.

Cheechoo had knee problems after he took a dirty hit in a playoff game the year of his 56 goals i believe too. Can't remember who it was some guy on Nashville...Was never the same after that. Setoguchi can still score probably 15 goals this year not the same player without Joe but not entirely useless like damien bruners female dog ass. Another guy with injury problems as well. Has moulson ever been hurt? Has he not put up 9 pts for the isles this year and then gone on to do the same for sabres the worst team in the league? I believe he has.

I wouldn't want any of the three on the devils. Unfortunately we have two of them. I'm ok with Ryder on the team, but I was worried about this Brunner guy.

I don't know who you think we will acquire but it will be a guy in the Moulson type mold if not Moulson himself. We are not getting an offensive stud unless we part with Larsson, Gelly, Merril or a Henrique. Which would be stupid if you ask me. I don't think if we add a guy like say Evander Kane at the expense of a Henrique, Gelly or Larsson that we would be a better team. We have a better scorer sure but we just lost a strength on the team that wasn't that deep to begin with.

Ryder sucks I was ok with it too until i saw him play for two straight months. Maybe we can convince him it's the playoffs and he is playing for Boston. Whether you want to admit it or not Moulson is probably better than both Ryder and Brunner. Not by much by Ryder but he is better and he poops on brunner this guy should be in Europe. So soft, stupid and lazy.

Not anyone specifically but he has to be looking to make a move. Need to free up space on the back end still and all signings besides Jagr have been horrible. We need to add a forward who has some size and decent skill. I would love a sniper but I just don't see how we can with the lack of talent on the roster, no 1st rd draft pick and shallow prospect pool.
