As much as it sucks to lose that way with so little left in OT, it was a confidence building game. I thought that the game against Pheonix, the team perhaps lost confidence in our goaltending as we as fan may have. Bishops reaffirmed our trust in him with that great performance and hopefully we will turn a corner and start playing the way we should. This road trip was a rough patch and we will be stronger for it. Hopefully Radko won't miss any time and Connolly will return.

Connelly how about giving him a chance to succeed and failing. Please don't tell me look at the preseason it doesn't count so to be a goal scorer in preseason and not in the regular season when it does. Minus 5 and one assist doesn't cut it along with being out of position.

Not disputing that, either way he got lit up and we cannot afford to lose him for any amount of time; one of the few players on this team that actually hits people and makes them pay to be in our zone, can't replace him with another limp wrister we seem to have a bevy of.

Look at the standings, all of a sudden teams like nj and rangers and philly starting to catch us and quickly, they all play tough in your face hockey and we skate around hoping not to make contact (see ryan suck Malone) need to get a little grittier or another long year.

Yes, Connolly hasn't exactly had the best way to the NHL. But he was a top 10 pick in 2012 and with so much young talent on this roster and in Syracuse, the lightning doesn't want a 2nd/3rd liner in Connolly. With all the talent they have, pushing these guys against each other some guys will rise to the occasion and become regular first/2nd producers. Connolly has shown way to little during his 11 games to stick around, but I do think he should have gotten the chance when he was hot in the preseason. Anyway, if Yzerman can get some good value for him (what do we want? Picks? A top 4 defensemen?) we should ship him, or else let him fight for his spot on next years roster.

These upcoming games against rangers and Philly is VERY important. If we don't come out of these with wins, the division is really tight. We need to start grabbin wins again before we're in a deeper hole then we can come back from.

Michael would you trade Connolly for Merril ? It's hard to make trade with you guys because you are loaded with youth in every position

Power play gave up 3 break aways by my count, even the chief commented about it and my point was they should by bish dinner.

Don't think their handling Connelly for success but that is my opinion and that was my point and did not say anything about stevie, sorry again for making some observations on a power play that gave more scoring chances than they had and a player I have high hopes for in the future.
