Ottawa could be looking to move open up some cap space for a trade to get a top-4 Dman. Maybe now is a good time to inquire about one of Greening or Smith (2.6 and 1.8 respectively). If thaey can move one of those two, they'll have much more wiggle room in making a trade as they won't have to worry about sending as much cap out in a deal for said Dman. Just a thought.
