Nothing gave me that idea, but if you are a troll and are blasting all the leaf players, your credibility is zero.

Seguin is better than Hall, and smarter.

Landeskog over Nuge (If you drafted Tyler instead of Taylor)

What's your point. Read what i said. I didn't say Stock was a source I said look up how he made Ek look stupid. Maybe you should understand what you read before commenting.

Nope, I read it perfectly fine thanks. Also read that a poster who took his time to join the website and read through posts/comment/blogs on said site, thus investing their personal time and energy is for whatever reason trashing the guy who runs said site. Confusing. But carry on.

Is Kessel/Reilly/JVR on par with the average top 5 pick in the past 10 years? probably.

Is Kessel/Reilly/JVR on par with the average #1 pick in the last 10 years? Certainly not JVR or Rielly, there's a good argument for Kessel though.

I gotta feel like the allure of potential for a rebuilding team would make the asking price for a 1st very high for Calgary

Ya i'm sure your obvious dislike for the leafs in no way affected your sterling reputation for credible hockey analysis. I've read your stuff in this thread, it's ten ply nonsense; you're dusty bud. Time to (frank) off from work. GO LEAFS GO.

i don't see what's confusing about making it clear what you do like about said site, as well as the parts that you don't like.

what's really confusing is the train of thought that because one posts on said hockey discussion website, they are then somehow being hypocritical if they criticize some of the deceptive tactics used on the same website.

Seguin is going to be really good. BUT come on you got to be kidding if you think he is better than HALL. Than you haven't watched to many Oilers games if you make a claim like that.

Landeskog is over Nuge but not by much. They play a different style hard to compare.

Love how everyone blast Eck for giving u guys the rumors he hears. He usually hears these rumors really early and puts them out there, the idiots like you bash him then down the road it happens. Never seen anyone post after Bryz did sign with Edmonton, wow you were right on this Eck, the oilers did have interest. But when he first reported it all the Edmonton fans were saying, get real Eck that will never happen.

UGHHHHH... Again... weak Draft year. NO ONE in the draft this year will be as good as Kessel, JVR, Rielly, even Kadri. Ekblad had potential to be, but IMO, the #1-2 picks this year are about in the same category as the #10-11 picks in previous years.
Calgary would be stupid to not take a trade for one of these above guys... And Toronto would be stupid to offer it. Non-issue. Not going to happen.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone who writes about prospects for a living say that #1 ranked prospects from one year don't crack the top 10 in another year.

sources tell me that the Flyers aren't any real hurry to make another trade with Toronto where they send one of their young forwards to the Leafs for a defenseman.

Why? What would be so bad about that? Oh, right....Lawlz

Yeah, some people really like to exaggerate. Sure it isn't the strongest draft year, but the top-end prospects are equally as top-end as any of the past 3-4 years. Guys like Ekblad, Reinhart, even and Dal Colle are brilliant talents who could likely make the jump as soon as next season. You're getting a likely-elite player in any of the top-3 slots and there's a fair deal still within the 1st round that have wicked potential. Then there's guys like Draisaitl, DeAngelo, Perlini, Virtanen, Ehlers, Ritchie, Bennett, and all the Euros (Nylander, Kapanen, Karlsson, etc) to name a few with great potential.

Man, I used the word potential too much...

If flames stay were they are, I'd be happy if they drafted Ritchie. Fills that big RW need.

And even if they keep doing better then expected, a couple rounds later grab Virtanen

I can't see any scenario where Virtanen is falling to the 3rd round But yeah, Ritchie is a beauty!
