I really wish the Oilers made a play for Holland, 6'2 developed Centre.

Drew Shore, 6'2 centre that has been developed and has shown scoring in the minors. I would make a play for him. Marincin for Shore would be fair IMO. There's the good young Dman you wanted

Grimaldi will be a bust. He's freakishly religious.

If gardiner is truly going to be traded( which I think they should now!), to Calgary..we aren't going to take back much salary, so I could definitely see Stajan and conditional first coming back.. that would make the most sense..Brian Burke will have his hands all over this..he traded stajan before, he will again...and I could see this being bigger as Reimer could potentially be included in this..just like Anaheim has a lot of our old players, this will turn out the same..plus the Leafs and Flames trading history, Nonis and Burke being friends..this could get interesting..it would be a win /win for both sides.

I agree. He's only ever played good against our prospects. I think Rau is the small prospect we have who will bloom.

Shore played very well in the NHL last season. He easily could have had 10 goals. He was one of those guys who had the puck jump over his stick or caught the post because he didn't get 100% on the shot. He'll be good, but Bjugstad has just been amazing and we are super deep at center.

Edit: We like North American boys on our blue line.

The Flames don't have a Gardiner and the Leafs wouldn't move him for picks/prospects.

Also I wouldn't automatically assume that the Flames pick will be #1 overall. Bottom 5 team, yes, probably but no guarantee of being in the bottom 3, I would say

I guess those two things did come across as cause/effect - not intentionally. He is super small and will never make the NHL long term... But if he spent as much time focusing on hockey as he does on God, he'd be Wayne 'Moses' Gretzky.
