When I was 16, I got jumped and kicked in the face by a Mohawk and 5 of his friends from the Kahnawake reserve, in Chateauguay, just because they heard me speak french. I remember the guy's face well, and was looking for him for years every time I went back there.

Oh for sure people have been getting beaten up for years, for every reason and for no reason. It's just that it appears to be on the upswing as far as the number of incidents.

Yes, I get that. The nope was to indicate it isn't necessary here.

McDonald’s, a company that pioneered uniform, assembly-line hamburgers, is now experimenting with a somewhat antithetical concept: Custom-made burgers. The chain is currently testing them in Laguna Niguel, Calif., where diners make selections on an iPad; the burgers cost more than Big Macs, are grilled-to-order, and come with a choice of more than 20 toppings and sauces. The beef patty isn’t cooked until you order, so the sandwich requires extra time to prepare.

If I want a good burger I'm not going to McDonalds.
If I want a fast one....I am.

Have you heard about this new game some bored kids are playing? Yeah, seems they walk the streets, and if they see someone walking alone, they walk up to the person, beat the poop out of him/her (or just punch them) and they take off.

It's all kinds of fun.

- hscesq

The object of the game is to knock them out with ONE punch.

That consumer frustration is spilling out in inconvenient - and very public - places, though. On Amazon's PS4 hardware page, 757 of the 3,111 reviews - roughly 25 percent - give the system just one star, with many of those users complaining of hardware issues, including the so-called "blue light of death". (Once any hardware issue acquires a nickname, it becomes a PR crisis.)

That particular problem occurs when users try to boot up the system. Some PS4 units never make it to the home screen, leaving users staring at a blinking blue line atop the box.
