Frank fought Tony Twist while he was in the NHL. (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zR7yHwKcs-E)

And I'm pretty sure Tony Twist killed a guy.

That was only in the comic book.

There's a wide Easement where The Bastard Pub backs up to Fu King Chinese. You could probably squatt the area. Zoning codes transfer owners rights in 6 months within the town's borders.

How are food scraps accounted for? Is it a lottery system? A Hunger Games type of last man (and wolves/genetically-altered giant urban arthropods) standing winner? Can the city officials be bribed and, if so, what with?

Here's the other gem from that account... kind of a dated reference, but still hilarious:

Brian Burke @brianburke Mar 29th
Pogge was so upset after last night's game that he threw himself in front of my car - but it went through his legs! So I backed over him.

- Tomahawk

He stole that from mid-90s Hextall jokes.

- Talbot + Rinaldo on PK= decreased ability to kill penalties.

Rinaldo will learn and they will get back on track.

- missingmike

The PK was strange last night. It seemed like the Flyers broke up a lot of entries, but when the Sens got set, they were able to either score or generate a grade A scoring chance.

There was one shift where Rinaldo broke up 3 entries in a row. Sometimes, I think he can be a little too aggressive, but his skating definitely helped him on the PK.

Adam Hall deserved that goal last night. It was nice to see the Flyers get an empty netter quickly. It makes the last minute of the game much more pleasant to watch.

In the Spawn comic book series, Todd McFarlane created a mob enforcer character named Antonio "Tony Twist" Twistelli, who McFarlane acknowledged was named after Tony Twist. Twist won a $15 million verdict in 2004 when a St. Louis, Missouri jury found Todd McFarlane Productions had profited from Twist's likeness. The verdict was upheld after two appeals in June 2006. In 2007, Twist and McFarlane settled the lawsuit out of court for $5 million.

Unless you're the Toronto Maple Leafs.
You know what...I'd really rather not make the playoffs than lose like they did.

I'd be fine with offering Mason a 3 year/$11m contract if he keeps up this level of play into next year. He will have earned it.

It depends on the team. If your team is young, it's not as bad. If it were a veteran team then it would be worse.

At least the Leafs knew they were improving and could come into this year with higher expectations.

If it were a veteran team that was contending for a cup, then I agree with you.

I don't want the Flyers to sign him to some ridiculous extension. I have a feeling Mason would prefer to stay with Philly anyway. If he balks at a realistic number then let him go to rfa and see if another team wants to pony up the picks and money to get him.

Nah...having a 3-goal lead with 10 minutes left and a 2-goal lead with 1:30 left and losing in a Game 7...I'll pass. There was some bad math done by a guy who estimated it would happen to your team once every 100,000 years or so.

SNL had a very funny bit last week. But you are right, Farley would have been perfect for this. Ford should just resign and sign on with SNL.

You'll be our first homeless citizen so not sure. I don't think it'll last long. There are a lot of single women... you know, because it's Angrytown.

The funniest part is that everyone is just standing around. No one even comes to the woman's aid. They're all just like "(frank) it, you're on your own lady"

She was just in the way. He was going after some other guy. His brother is on City Council and I think he was running to his defense.
