I am really excited for the coach press conference. Can't wait to hear the idiotic shat that comes out if this guys mouth.
- NewYawkIslandez

Again, I'd like SOMEONE- ANYONE to explain to me what it is they are trying to do out there. I just don't understand the game plan, at all. I guess only understand defense- if a hockey team doesn't make defense the focal point of what they do, I have trouble picturing what the point is, because....well, because it doesn't work in the NHL....never has, and never will....

Well, I've given Snow my support but saaid this was the tell-tale year for his tenure. IMO the domino's are in place in order they are:
1. Dman trade
2. fire Capuano
3. Fire Snow

That means Garth should be two desperate attempts away from being let go... Not likely, but thats the way it should be. I still say its the toughest gm job in the NHL, but its a results oriented world and this team is failing

Cappy said the D didn't let them down and the coverage was good.
- UIF

Wang should have the team taken away if he does not fire Cappy after these comments.

Our idiot coach thought the D was fine and there were no breakdowns. He just blames the offense.
- ses111

I just saw that. How can he expect this to be the only team that scores 5 goals a game to win. 2 goals should get us to OT with decent d and average goaltending. See NJ and NYR and well any other team.

Queue up the Benny Hill music. The guy has no idea what the problems are. This is beyond sad.

Number 3 will never ever happen with General Tzo as the owner, it just won't so we need to get that out of all our heads.
Garth's bigger failure in his entire GM tenure was not upgrading anything this offseason after a solid last season and a playoff appearance. This was a huge opportunity for him to make a stand and he miserably failed.

Until our D and ( I know people will hate on me) goaltending get upgraded we will be hovering around.500 and probably below it. This is on Snow.
- mighty13duck

I'm actually OK with the goalie right now....very encouraged, for the most part. He's going to get schooled by a Phil Kessel once in a while, but that's how you learn. The defense is utterly bull tit*ies worthless. If they sh*t canned all of them, I'd not shed a tear for the loss of any of them, right now. One is worse than the other....

Vanek is planning his escape as we speak. He could have stayed in Buffalo for this.

Snow should be working the lines to ship him out now. No way he signs. Time to go hard on upgrading our d.

I wouldn't be so sure about Wang. They've got seats to sell for Brooklyn.
Agreed on Garth's failure. I think this season was a crossroads for his tenure and he failed miserably, be it his fault or the market, it's all about results

A good GM makes his own market. If he was willing to trade 1st and 2nd round picks so early in the season this year then he should have parted with them in the offseason for an impact player. He miserably miserably failed this offseason. Terrible job by him.

Cappy: "the defense was not the problem"
- NYI44

I guess he didn't see the gem by Hickey at center ice and Carkner's great defensive play on Kessel's goal...at least Vanek had a good game...

He says the offensive was the problem, so he expects the team to score 6 goals a game! It's unbelievable the things he says

The trade for Vanek was a waste...they need defensemen not forwards...bad move by Snow. I know you all have a problem with Moulson but Vanek isn't much of an upgrade...check his stats the three years...
