Nice to see Boulton getting PP time. He's definitely earned it. |

This team needs an identity...something to build off of. I can't point to anything they do particularly well at this point in the season. Can't kill penalties, they don't forecheck well anymore, there's no D to speak of, they don't have dynamite goaltending, they never win a faceoff, the power play is very ordinary; for all the "grinders" on the team they're not even particularly physical. Just an easy team to play against, and not thrilling to watch. |

Just tonight? When has Bailey not looked clueless this season? - islanders1717
Clutterbuck hasn't impressed me at all this season. I know he's had some injuries (insert other excuses) but he hasn't done a damnnn thing.

I don't need the owner to say anything and the gm already said .500 hockey isn't acceptable. I need a coach who doesn't accept loses of any kind and knows something about matchups. This coach is the worst I've seen at this level. - keaner17
This team will be lucky to get to. 500. The GM saying 500 is unacceptable has not done it. It's the owner's turn. Wang wants to stay in the shadows, have your team going in the right direction and then you can go do whatever it is you do. |

I don't need Jerry Jones. I prefer owners keep their mouths shut until the offseason, especially a loon like Wang. The coach needs to call a spade a spade and stop using Grabner as his scapegoat.
Cizikas needs an increased role. It's time he gets paired with more talented wingers than Martin. I wouldn't mind seeing him with Grabs and Nelson when Vanek returns |

Huh...never considered that, but it looks like it's worth trying to me. |

Would be nice to do better than Wang or Jones. I agree about Cappy and Casey. I have no faith Cappy will do the right thing. |

cizikas frequently generates offense and is effective on the forecheck. I'd love to see Regin dropped (especially after that wide looping circle on the pk that allowed kessel to walk in and shoot..wtf) and casey moved up.

That kid can play..I agree on that, for sure. Regin is a 4th line player, not Cizikas. |

That's a good move. Take Nelson who has been playing great off the first line in exchange for Bouchard. |

Nelson has not scored since the last game so he needs to be dropped. |

Okposo has earned his first line minutes for MOST of this season, IMO. That said- I'd still love to see them put Nielsen back with KO and Bailey....seems coach Dumbo has done everything BUT that....go figure. |

Yeah....any time Carkner and Ness are on the ice, it's a 2 on 0 for the other team....regardless of where they are on the ice... |

I dont freakin get it. Nelson has been playing absolutely great. He's hopefully going to be a future star. Bouchard is a piece of crap mediocre player who wont be around next year. Why the hell would you put Bouchard on the first line? |
|

I can't take this defense. It is so fackin painful to watch them.
