The Isles are 1 point out of third in the division and that's after a dismal start. If they manage to secure a dman and get Vanek back healthy, they're more than capable of going on a run. Given our coach is holding us back, but they showed they can win in spite of him last year.

Post game question to Cappy: "So what did you think of Carkners play on the Leafs third goal"

not saying carkner is the best positional defenseman but he wasnt the issue on that play. it was a terrible change and for whatever reason the 2 other guys went after the guy with the puck leaving everyone else open.

As bad as we are personnel wise on defense, this teams primary issue is coaching. No doubt in my mind.
