Potter is definitely the best Oilers shot...Fedun/Klefbom could probably replace him overall soon, but I'll give that to you.

I prefer Schultz's wrister personally, but I guess the power Potter can blast it with is pretty enticing.

I like having a mix. Schultz has a knack at getting it through with the wrister. Much like OEL. But sometimes power is great as it is hard for a goalie to coral and usually results in juicy rebounds.

We'll just have to disagree.

I don't think a single player you mentioned is going to help us at all other than Brouwer. The rest would be more of what we have and would not be the magical fit some of you think. I would never give up an Eberle or Yak for a 3/4 D and one of these guys. Not a chance.

Well, I said at least a 3-4 D plus a big winger. I just feel that without putting some size up front, the first 2 lines will continue to be pushed around and largely play from the outside as they can't effectively get to the prime scoring areas by trying to dangle like they did in junior.

I wouldn't give up big assets for those guys, but a lot of them could help. Remember the threshold at present is being an upgrade on guys like Smyth and Jones.

I'd seriously consider taking a run at Kulemin. Even if he never potted more than 15 goals for us, he's a good defensive winger - pretty safely better than most of our guys defensively.

It's certainly not like the days of Visnovsky/Pitkanen, Souray and Gilbert...say what you will about those punks, we had some shooting options. Grebs had a good year in there too.

That little pass by Smyth too, a good sign of flow and confidence.

This second line of Yak- Gagner- Hemsky has looked pretty solid of late. It's been three straight solid game for this combination!
