It's only been a week since injury and it was diagnosed 6-8 weeks and this Buffoon is wowing that he's still out a month.

Gardiner is progressing far better than Franson is this year.

I had hopes that Franson could progress and potentially take Dion's position as the top Offensive Defenceman for Toronto, but he keeps making poor decisions. Pinching at the wrong time, that shot into the shins last night when he could've thrown it around the boards. Well, I guess he did take over for Dion this year in that regard.

Franson still doesn't use his size, rarely takes the body, and isn't the presence I hoped he'd be on the blueline. I'd be more inclined to keep Gardiner and trade Franson

I know...but his is Miller for Richards AND Kopitar...throw in Carter because he's hurt.

But is he? Hes not playing against the top line, but yeah his play I think has improved, seems like a solid top 4 guy with room to grow
