According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, speaking in the network's Insider Trading segment, the Flyers have told teams the 22-year-old could be had.
"If there is the right deal available, if they can find the right fit, then absolutely they would include Brayden Schenn in a trade scenario," Dreger said.
Schenn, drafted fifth overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2009, has registered six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 20 games with the Flyers so far this season.
Flyers GM Paul Holmgren is also reportedly willing to part with center Sean Couturier, whom he had dangled last season, and right wing Matt Read, who has only tallied four goals and three assists so far this season.
According to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, the Toronto Maple Leafs have expressed an interest in Schenn, but the asking price would be defenseman Jake Gardiner, a player the Leafs would rather not move. |

yeti: you're not the only one who is back on the Ranger bandwagon. I've had no issues with his last 6 or so games. He's made a lot of little plays I've been very happy with.

i think he's really on the trade block.
they wouldnt of kept rielly up just to sit him once everyone was healthy.. they would of gone another route.
gards gets moved.. rielly jumps in. - Dozzer
Rielly's the one d-man that Carlyle has been calling out this season. That's why he sat out. You're 100% right Dozzer when you say Carlyle likes certain type of d-men, he expects his d-men to play a certain way, and thats why he's giving Gardiner more minutes. Again, not saying Gardiner is doing it well, but he's playing the way Randy wants him to. |

Kessel is back along the bench. A member of the Leafs staff is looking at the wrist. Still not clear what the issue is, if anything. |

We need a center. Brayden is a center. We have a surplus of D
It's an obvious move.

This is not the way to treat a 19 year old.
Send him down. Or play him regularly. Period.

He's made a few too many gaffes for my liking of late. I just figure a one game break would be good for him. |

The way RC works. He'll play on every combination. |

Coots would be a better centre than Schenn, Schenn seems more suitable on the wing |

I hope he goes to the world juniors and comes back. We'll surely have an injury on d by then, and who knows, maybe you're right, gardiner gets moved. |
