oh okay, thanks for the info. Who do you think we are going to target at the deadline in some kind of package like that?

It would only be trades for the long term. Roy has stated that he has no intention of trading for players unless they have a place on the team where he can make us better for the long term. |

oh good, i had not heard him say that. that is reassuring to know that hes not going to be quiet as wheeling and deelin' as i thought when they signed him.

I mean if you look at the Talbot trade it is pretty much a perfect example of a long term trade. |

He really needs to switch O'Reilly and MacKinnon. Toews would have a field day on faceoffs against MacKinnon. That 3 man combo could be quite intriguing to watch but to bad they get there first go of it against Chicago. Time will tell. |

I would love to try and poach Burmistrov away from the Jets, wonder what they would ask for him. He is top scorer in Russia right now on a 2 year KHL contract, I dont see him wanting to coming back to the Jets after the Noel mishandling. Cant see it being too high since he has backed the jets into a corner, and any offersheet that is reasonable will be matched by them.
If he has an out clause this summer, could be interesting to see if him back in the NHL, hes a talented player. |

We are home, so we have the last change, I doubt the MacKinnon line is going up against the top line, that will probably be Stastny. |

yeah, I was going to mention that. Roy will probably try and match that line to one of the lower lines of the hawks. predictions for tonights game?

If he is signed in the KHL then I don't think he can sign an NHL contract due to the (poaching?) rule the 2 leagues have in place not to try and steal each others players. |

Painful. Better effort from Avs but the disparity in depth comes back to haunt us. 4-2 hawks. |

I would doubt he has an out clause during the summer as they would want to keep their own russian players but I think some KHL contracts have that, I remember Jagr having that situation while he was out there, so there was a huge stink about him maybe coming back to the NHL with the Oilers but then he decided to not opt out or something like that. |

I used to be HUGE on the kid. While I will admit he was used incorrectly, all of his skill never translated into any numbers and defensively he was rough. He may play in the NHL again one day but I dont really see him as a Roy type player. |

Thats the thing with him, so much unknown mentally but so much raw potential and skill, you are always interested in him under the right system. I just look at the Roy Grigorenko realtionship as the precedent, they seem to be similiar players at the moment.
Just looking at KHLs stat leaders, how the heck is Sandis Ozolinsh still playing |
