Actually beimng rushed could ruin him for good. It's neither here or there though. Is what it is at this point. He'll turn it around i'm sure but he needs to find some consistency.

He has to find the passion. He is strong enough not to play a soft game. If he can do the pullups with chains he can raise his battle level.

I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to saying Bailey was 'ruined' by the Isles. At some point, a player has to be responsible for their own drive and determination. It's what seperates the Daigles from Crosby's. The willingness to play the game with reckless abandon and focus on the task at hand. With Bailey we see it come and go in spurts, suggesting that it's more personality than anything. To me, when the kid dominates one game, creates scoring opportunities, makes a great move or pass and then goes 10 games without being seen, that screams motivational problem to me. He has no trade value at this point so I doubt we could deal him, but I'm growing tired of saying 'he needs to find consistency' year in and year out.

Exactly keaner! It's too easy to say the Isles ruined him. I can understand Bailey having a slow start to his career but he should be past it by now. He seems to be the type that the coach has to be on 24/7.

Agreed. A player can't be expected to be incredible eveey game but these lapses are too long and happen far too often.

Agree with you Keaner, Next to Bailey, Kavasha was a really consistent player!

Okposo was drafted in 2004 and only in playoffs of 2013 did he meet his potential. Bailey was drafted in 2008. I agree this year he should have no excuses.

I don't get it. Strong skater , great on the boards, he can hit, a great passer and has an incredible shot.

Why he choose to pass all the time is annoying.
The best point getters in the league regardless of they are assist guys get 4-5 shot on net per game.
Bailey shoots once every 4 games.

So frustrating. After Tavares and vanek. This guy should be our 3 best player. That's why I don't want to trade him. I'm willing to given him another few years.

In fairness to Grabner he was on pace for right around 30 goals last year and nobody is saying he is a 1st liner. Do I think he is a 30 goal scorer? probably not but scoring 34 goals in your first full year followed by 20 and then on pace for around 30 again in the lockout year is not exactly garbage like you like to think. Guy is really struggling this year but its only 20 games in and he still has 3/4's of a season to turn it around. Not sure why you are so worried about what we think about the players we root for?? Its getting old.
