My big issue with the Flyers, under Holmgren, is the willingness to change the plan at the drop of a hat. They were built around Carter and Richards, got to a SCF, had a set back and tore it down.

I wish Morin could get PP time.

My two cents are that if Holmgren is going to ante up to get Byfuglien (Spelling?) he might as well pay a little more and go after someone like Yandle instead. Personally I am really impressed by him but I think Pheonix, probably just like Winnipeg with Buff, would want the world for him

Ryan Jankowski the head scout for Canada during the intermission specifically mentioned Morin for his PK role. If he has a shot a the national team might be part of why he could make it.

I was just about to talk about Morin's ability to handle the rush and he just got beat like a drum off the rush for a goal.

Well Morin just got beat big time by Vladimir Tkachev that resulted in the game tying goal

It will depend on the cost, not matter who they go after. A better strategy might be to acquire a guy like Rundblad or Gardiner, who is either stuck behind another player or who has not made a big mark in the NHL yet.
