or Gallagher has an effect on any line he plays on

I can't claim to have played hockey at any level above "suck" but even in my limited experience I have found that skating and actually trying to score are usually a step in the right direction.

Pacioretty made some great comments the other day that i just saw, basically turfing the whole idea that Montreal is playing great defence, saying all that means is that they don't have the puck and are doing nothing on offence. it was nice to see them play more aggressive last night. reminded me of the way they played last year. our defence doesn't look as vulnerable when they don't have to... you know, play defence.

You know you suck when your big breakout game is two assists and when a reporter asks you "How did you know Max was behind you on that pass?" Your answer is "I didn't see him I just had a feeling he would be there, I didn't expect it to be right on his tape..."

I've been a harsh critic of him this year but I'll give him credit for last nights play. If he can keep it up I would be happy for him.

Meh, I have been arguing with my old man that he is terrible for three years now so I might be a little biased against him...

Yup, the little bugger put a spring in their step for sure.

Like to see MT, just leave the lines alone now for a few games.

me too, nice to see Emelin fitting in as well, he's still out a step or two but I thought he'd be longer having impact.

this morning I opened the cabinet to throw something in the trash and I saw the empty box in the recycling bin.

I felt a tinge of guilt I admit it.
