Maybe you are right but I think at least 2 of you're upcoming F/A's leave if you guys get booted out early this year. Buffalo is going to throw truck loads of money at Callahan if he hits F/A Lundqvuist wants to win and could join a couple teams and do it faster then with the Rangers. Staal is all but gone to the Canes as soon as he is up for F/A I would be at least a little concerned if I where you but I honestly could care less if you aren't

And Blizzard, how many Rangers have left in the past, messier is probably the most prominent name and I agree that Buffalo would love to throw a ton of money at Callahan but the Rangers will match and why would he want to leave a team that's still young and growing to go to a team that has no history and in the beginning stages of a complete rebuild, it's not like there is another team closer to contention that Lundqvist could go to, you underestimate what's been going on in NY, free agents want to play in NY not leave, sorry just the facts

Sometimes it's not always about winning either some guys are quite content with playing in their home towns for lots of money ( not that where he is now is that far away from Buffalo). Until Lundqvuist has a deal in place and signed there is going to be speculation about him as he is one of the few that want to win now. I strongly think a first or second round exit this year will cause him to go somewhere else ( if he wanted to go to the Pens they would move Fleury in a second to get him signed ). Also Nash is close to coming back but if he suffers another concussion this season then that is also going to hurt. I really don't think the Rangers are a bad team. Staal is still a year away and again he's home grown like the other 3 and I don't get the whole all 3 brothers have to play together, it's a tight cap squeeze too, I can't say that it won't happen but it's less of a concern right now with the other 3 coming up first, Lundqvist doesn't fit as well in any other City, he is NY on and off the ice

have to wait all the way to wednesday....That's a bummer especially after playing two good games this weekend. Every time these little breaks happen between games we always come out like poop it seems.

Sooner or later Cory is going to flat out steal a game we had no right winning. I am hoping it happens on this western road trip. If that happens and Marty wins one or gets us a point I won't complain.

I think our best chances of win on this trip will be against the Ducks and Kings ( not that either are going to be easy) The Sharks I think might be too much. But hey we could very well lose to all 3 or to just the Kins and Ducks and somehow beat the Sharks.
