You know, I get sick of the Ford bashing. I believe that he needs to step down, because of the proof of his drug use and alcohol problems. What I can't stomach, is the way the media, mostly the Toronto Star and the CBC went on a major witch hunt, the day he was elected. They sent in their hit squads, trying to look into his windows, harassed him in his own driveway, with his children. The left wingers tried allot of false and misleading accusations, to try and discredit him. Just because he had a right of center agenda, to stop the useless waste of tax dollars and the forever tax increases in the GTA.
He was overweight and spoke like a factory worker. He coached highschool football and attended many of the city's sporting events. Everything the socialist's hated! What no-one talks about, is the number of fee's and taxes that he eliminated, or how he stopped the public debt from climbing. Just because he wasn't one of the "chosen one's", he was to be humiliated and run from office. He never stole one dime of taxpayers money. Someone like Justin Trudeau can admit to smoking marijuana while being a member of parliament and advocate decriminalization of drugs, but I don't see the Toronto Star, or the CBC going near him or harassing his family. He is one of the "chosen one's". In actuality, he's done nothing to suggest that he was great at politics, or did anything of significance in life, however many on the left want him at 24 Sussex Drive. It's a blatant double standard and it really is something that people should understand, before they pile on to this poor soul as mayor of Toronto, who needs help. - PrinceLH

It's strange, in 2013', I think in some ways Ford is helping the city. The more of a trainwreck you are, the more headlines and the more "Sexy" Toronto seems.
I bet you tourism goes way up after this. - RogerRoeper
From the outside looking in i assure u Ford isn't making TO look sexy... |

Yes but business's do not want to do business in a city they view as unstable . And watching Mr Ford's antics . What can you think when he is the man in charge . Make him the City Mascot for the PR . But remove all his powers .

Dude, it's not a witch hunt when it's reality and the accusations are true. As for Ford's policy record, think about whose word you're taking for how good it is. If you actually look at it, a lot of what Ford said is bullpoop and his numbers don't add up.
Imo people who want Ford's type of policies at City Hall should be the first ones piling onto this guy, because they were conned by him. This has nothing to do with some sort of culture war vendetta. Ford's not even a conservative, he's just an incompetent criminal liar, and the media and police should be thanked for their public service in outing this fraud. |

He really needs to step down . Toronto is really a great World Class city . And all this mockery of him is damaging Toronto's reputation world wide . If he loves the city as much as he claims , he needs to do the right thing - Maximum Signal
It's not. It's a 'large' city with a big 'financial' hub but really it's just a bastien for Liberalism with a big gay community and large ethnically-segregated communities.
You can walk through large parts of Toronto and be easily forgiven for thinking you're not even in Canada anymore.
Toronto's reputation hasn't been hit, people from all over the world will still flock there.
It's got ugly architecture, insanely overpriced real estate and because 1/5th of Canada's population lives there Toronto is primarily responsible for electing some of the worst politicians this country has seen both provincially and federally. |

Deservedly so. He hasn't been a world beater (Until this stretch), but he's been a top liner for the Blues since he got there. |

Simmons should be made into a punching bag for John Scott... would allow both of them to validate their collective existence. |
