He has a very specific job that is in no way spectacular.

His role is such that, if you really don't notice him too much then it means he's doing his job, which isn't easy for a lot of Dmen to do.

Oilers fans will love anything. They still actually believe that they're a lock to be contenders, and cup winners, just because they drafted high and often.

In regards to what System T said about Eller, for such a low cap hit, he's been fabulous for my HBSL team. A real steal for me, considering my other centers are Crosby, Tavares & Couture. Couldn't afford another big ticket cap high center. Eller has been a perfect fit for my Markham Aces.

Ranger's obviously the 7th Dman, and having him in on a regular basis to start the year was not a good idea. I won't sewer the guy yet, because he has shown a bit of improvement, and may pull it together, but he's just not ready for the workload.

I like having him there as a safety net though, and to fill in for injuries or under performing players. Though, Liles could have fit that bill too.

I agree with u on Gunner. While he is miscast as a top pairing d man, he is well suited for the 2nd pairing. Definetly can be any team's 3rd or 4th best d man, if the Leafs had 3 better d men than him which they don't.

Wow I'm kicking my opponents ass in HBSL & I don't even have Stamkos getting me points with him being out. Imagine how great my team will be next week when I have his replacement Crosby in play!!!

So JVR is proven to be a terrible center, Kessel & Lupul used to have great chemistry but it doesn't seem to be there anymore. Leaf offense is in serious dissaray. One goal per game in regulation time in the last 4 games, not including getting SO by the Nucks.
