Pacioretty needs to wake the (frank) up

The truth is that he's been more and more scared since the Chara hit. Evidence of it: being scared makes one hesitate making it more likely they'll get hurt.

I didn't watch last night's game so maybe I'm saying this and it's because of something that happened last night, but why in the hell would Therrien break up the Bournival-Plek-Gionta line AND the Bourque-Brière-Pacioretty??
Let Desharnais play with Moen and Prust. I don't know what's up with Therrien this year and breaking up players that are "on" just to try to get others going. It's a terrible strategy, imo.

Bad strategy when it doesn't work. I don't know if Crosby could get Desharnais going. The guy is simply too small to play with this current lineup. He played well with two big wingers with cole and pax. Habs have zero size.

But excuses aside desharnais sucks.

He's actually the only guy that went to the net tonight besides Prust . I think asp is right if DD was the size of Pacioretty we'd be talking more about Pacioretty. also great Pacioretty is developing a PK game...great

Well, so far this year he's screwed up the kids hot start and then Bournival's hot streak all with this same strategy. Seems rather illogical to me, especially with young players.

That and not yet adapting to the reverse are completely mind boggling to me.

Haven't you noticed... since they started losing last year. All teams have clued in (word has to have gotten around) that all you need to beat the Habs two-man forecheck is a reverse and boom, you're gone! So the Habs offense is once again a one-trick pony... hope to score on the rush. Mind baffling that not a single one of the coaches says, "Hey let's switch up our forecheck this period and mind-(frank) these guys."

Yeah, nothing better than using your fourth line after a goal for or against...

Too busy worried about how the puck bounces off the end boards of the arenas they visit.

Nice pickup by Daignault mind you i thin kthat was in edm.

But ya Therrien is growing thin for sure. Out coached too much. Subban sits, Desharnais plays and is given every opportunity, Murray plays while Tinordi is in the minors, etc.

Well, any chance Therrien is smart enough to start double-shifting Galchenyuk and letting Moen and Bourque skip some shifts? Since we need a goal in the next 10 minutes...

Doubt the Tinordi vs. Murray thing was his call, and honestly, I'd rather see Tinordi playing 30 minutes in Hamilton then playing every second game in Montreal.
