I guess? I really had never heard of this guy till now. Personally I think givingb up a second rounder for a 22 year old in the AHL is reckless but the Leafs are desperate and at least Nonis is trying.
I'm just enjoying the "Kadri 2.0" comments in Augello's.

He's pretty much a PPG C in the A at 22, decent size, former first rounder...if he sucks he gets demoted and it's a third round pick. I can deal with it over seeing (frank)ing Smithson play 17 minutes a night...the guy that was cut from Edmonton because he sucked so bad.

Pacioretty has little to no flair or drive this season. Not sure what to make of him. He seems lost or disinterested on most nights. I for one am not ready to throw in the towel but his play thus far has been pretty mediocre.

To me the amazing thing is the lack of offence. They've completely neglected goaltending and defence the last 5 years in favour of offensive studs and still can't score. Kevin Lowe is some executive.
