So... that means that Garth is the guy tracking play at First Niagara??? - lumlums
Yes good call. Seriously though, usually we have more hits. I could care less about hits, but if you go into to a game thinking you're gonna physically beat us then it most likely will back fire, just out play them and you will be fine |

Another loss tonight, or are they actually going to give their goalie some goal support cause they are at home?
The leafs crappy play is catching up to them (along with the injuries). I have a feeling they'll be at .500 soon.
I hope they turn it around, they can't have these 2 game losing streaks turn into 3 or 4. - Fakepartofme
Since the first for games, I believe they are playing at a clip that would not get them into the playoffs?
It looks very much like a solid 13th overall draft pick is in our future, yet again.

The Leafs could actually do it, if they wanted to and made the effort to. Bodie, Devane, Clarkson, McLaren, Orr and Fraser would really (frank) poop up, but the Leafs seem to have decided that playing physical isn't a priority right now. Which is sad, because it generated alot of positives for them when they played that style. You guys might our muscle most teams in the league, but Toronto wouldn't be one of them. |

Look. If Orr or McLaren get a suspension for a couple of games, we'll be fine. But it's a bigger injustice to the team if they let Scott go uncontested after trying to fight our teams best, and smallest, player. I have a hard time believing the Leafs will be screwed without one of our two enforcers in the line up. Especially when they aren't...well...enforcing.
Our team is at it's best when physicality is part of their game. We saw that last year, and we saw it earlier in the year when these two guys would actually get physically involved. - systemtool
if Orr and Maclaren are not fighting, or at least bringing a serious physical edge to the game, then why are they on the team? |

I am sure that Orr and Mclaren got the go ahead to fight but that was once the team was up by a few goals. Maybe your right though we should have been more physical and then followed with our offence. Refs called everything last night. |

The Leafs of last year would have given a good run for their money with the physicality. I don't know what the hell happened this year.
I never thought that I'd say this, but I really can't wait to get Bozak back...
Maybe Dave can make a trade to help cleanse my soul for saying that...??? |

That could be true. All I'm saying is that's what teams gameplans were 3 years ago against the Sabres and it worked then. Now all you have to do is play hockey and we look inferior for the most part |

To prevent things getting out of hand, and things didn't. They are to enforce the present, not what happened in preseason. Scott was pretty well behaved, had a career game last night, nobody took liberties on our players. With that freedom our stars should have lit it up last night. |

The thing about this Toronto team is that they can, and have done, both. We have our top 2 lines who can score with the best of them, and we have bottom 6 guys who can fight with the best of them. Put those two together and we're a very dangerous and difficult team to play against. Problem is, Leafs haven't even tried to fight or play physical the past few games and the results speak for themselves. Seems like Clarkson is the only guy on the team playing with a pair right now. |

This is complete and utter bs. No offense, but it really is. When you (frank) with the teams smallest and most talented player, it's not something that should be forgiven, forgotten and let go. |

Leafs are still a relatively young team. It just all has to gel. You obviously haven't seen the best of Reilly or Gardiner yet. JVR and Kadri will probably continue to get better |
