Another loss tonight, or are they actually going to give their goalie some goal support cause they are at home?
The leafs crappy play is catching up to them (along with the injuries). I have a feeling they'll be at .500 soon.
I hope they turn it around, they can't have these 2 game losing streaks turn into 3 or 4. |

Im not one to make excuses but losing your top 3 centers, and having one of your top wingers being rendered ineffective as well because of a transition forced upon him...it's really going to cripple a teams ability to perform.
That said, the past five or six games, it's still not an excuse to be on a 1 goal per game pace. However, we have seen this team as one of the best offensive teams in the league when not in a state of flux, so I will cut them some slack.
What concerns and upsets me the most though is the fact that Orr and McLaren havent been as effective and as physical as they were last year. Considering how short handed we are up the middle with guys who can actually play, Im annoyed those two arent fighting, but still playing, when guys like Trevor Smith can help our team alot more. Last night, with the Kessel incident and the elbow from Scott to Ranger, it was a prime opportunity for them to step up and they didn't. |

You notice the strike three, right? I gave him three chances to stop he obviously wasn't going to stop hence the break. - Yeti1181
Funny how some people get 3 strikes and some people get Paul Blarted right out of the blue. |

Super weak reffing yeti
The first 3 pages of this blog was absolutely pathetic.
I get banned for defending myself against other Leafs fans a few days ago, but you allow this poop?
What happened to Juice? That guy was rad. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I get it all the time, and without warning or word, but these guys get 6 strikes. It ain't how it used to be here. Too trigger happy for the wrong reasons at the wrong times. |

Its unfortunate that we are going to lose John Scott again for that dirty hit on Paul Ranger. What a worthless goon John Scott is. All he does is hurt people and there is no place for people like him in the game. - cupcrazedsabre26
No way that was deliberate, no way he gets suspended.
If Carlyle plays JVR as a center tonight I am going to lose it. |

The sportsnet crew said that both teams got a preemptive call from Shanahan. Is this true? If so and if the leafs get more suspensions were screwed. Can't blame the boys for not causing a scene in the next few, we can't lose any more players. It actually has got to the point where I was worried Ranger wouldn't make it back.

Look. If Orr or McLaren get a suspension for a couple of games, we'll be fine. But it's a bigger injustice to the team if they let Scott go uncontested after trying to fight our teams best, and smallest, player. I have a hard time believing the Leafs will be screwed without one of our two enforcers in the line up. Especially when they aren't...well...enforcing.
Our team is at it's best when physicality is part of their game. We saw that last year, and we saw it earlier in the year when these two guys would actually get physically involved. |

Instead Drew Stafford puts McClaren on his ass. The Sabres aren't very talented but you won't bully them. They gave it right back to the Kings and beat them. |

Oh, they could bully them. If they actually wanted to. It's cute you think Stafford getting lucky on hit on McLaren was a sign of toughness, but if they actually went toe to toe Stafford could seriously get hurt. Fortunately for the Sabres, they knew there would be no push back last night and had some fun with it. |

That was actually a pretty clever set up...
He got ya on that one
Game sat night should be interesting
Ready to see some fights...
Wonder if any of your boys will take on Scott?
Bernier made some great saves for u guys tonight. I like him... Kinda pissed u got him for so little... I wanted him here in bflo badly
What are Toronto fans thinking about your goalies up there?
Seems they've been fairly even so far,
But obviously u guys watch the Leafs way closer than I do
And by his comments, jvr doesn't seem to happy at center... - jdfitz77
He clearly hates it, but he will just have to suck it up until November 21st. That's the date that both Kadri and Bozak are eligible to return. Hopefully Bozak is ready.

It wouldn't work though. That's what I'm saying. The Sabres out hit everyone, they just never out shoot, out chance or out score Anyone |

Anyone know if MRielly will be in the line up tonight? I sure hoop so. I can't be the only one getting frustrated at a lack of offensive support coming from the D. |
