There problem here is that our history and accomplishments don't start when the Sabres entered the league, and instead of being grateful to the teams who started and established this league, you wish to minimize the history of every team because it isn't in accordance to the standards and relevance to the Sabres. It doesn't work that way. While you may wish to exclude parts of our teams history, forgive us for not doing the same. - systemtool[/
I just love all the leaf fans. They come to buffalo, not for being leaf fans, but Canadians. Ihavenever gone to a sporting event and bring a USA FLAG,unless it is supporting my country in Olympics,Ryder cup or similar sporting events. Canadians have such and inferiority complex and I u derstand, you should. Stop throwing mindless statistics out there ,you last won a cup 46 years, when there was 6 teams. Th CFL has more teams then that lol, that including the two rough rider teams . Hockey is a Canadian sport, but unfortunately Quebec and Winnipeg couldn't support them. We also understand that Canada is as powerful as Somalia or some other third world country. Come and support your team and if they win great. But remember on the world stage it is 332 best sport behind, badminton, croquet and bobsledding |

Interesting....can Holland win a face off? And wonder what picks... - ClarkHitsBell
James Mírtle @mirtle
The picks the Leafs give up are a conditional third rounder (can become a second) and a seventh rounder.
Steep price...Nonis sure loves trading draft picks... |

I really dont care to read your Canada VS USA post.
Considering I read a few words and dismissed the rest, I would say your post was a great success at failure. |

Holland is joining the Leafs immediately and will likely play tonight. Staubitz is going to the Marlies. |

As if the third wasn't bad enough... but possibly a 2nd? lame...
Not sure Blacker was ever going to take the next step anyway |

I would imagine Holland, a highly-skilled centre, will get a good chance to show what he has for injury-riddled TOR. |

For a good prospect and former 1st round pick, it's not steep either. Plus you get a bonus guy.
I actually like the deal. Young center, has size, and potential. We'll see how it pans out, and while it wasn't cheap, we didn't severly over pay either. And really, we needed the center depth and im glad it's not some old poon with no upside and a big contract. |

Leafs are in a bad state at the moment. They have an OK schedule coming up with Buff, NYI and Nash. I'd expect they should be able to got 2-1 in those three games. However, a 1-2 or 0-3 would really make things interesting in our division.
What happens if the Leafs lose tonight? |

James Mírtle @mirtle
Holland was Ducks first pick 15th overall four years ago. He's a skilled centre with decent hands and has decent AHL numbers. Not a grinder. |

Holland has some potential but is also in his contract year (that's what the condition must be on the pick) but don't mind giving up Blacker...the 7th is a throw away |

They lose tonight. What happens in Ottawa when they lose a game? Unicorns attack monkeys and turn them into tires with ribbons? |

His PIMs suggest he isn't soft. At least, to me. Never seen him play though. Can't wait for tonight. Got a kid with something to prove and we needed a C badly. |
