Odd timing for you to bring that up, considering that Dubnyk has been playing very well the past few games... The Oilers problems run much MUCH deeper than Dubnyk, and Miller would not turn our ship around...

Before this season started...I'd agree with them. Dubnyk crapped the bed this year. But if he had progressed like he was supposed to and had been, I really believe the team would have been fine. Miller is playing great, no doubt. But he hasn't played like this since before the Lucic incident. Nobody saw Dubnyk sinking and Miller playing stellar before this season...if anything...the opposite would have been expected by most.


Edit: And as for wishing he'd wave his no trade...I still don't think he's worth the assets Regier/his successor will be asking. So no I don't wish he'd wave his no trade.

For the record, Miller has been very good all along... Just had a pretty crappy team around him...
Even this year, every commentator out there is saying how good Miller is playing...
But if u look at his stats, he has an average save% and his gaa is over 3.00
Stats don't tell the whole story though

I said it from the very beginning. We had a guy last season who was all about mentality, and now we have a guy who is all about physicality... Why can't we have a happy medium? I swear to God, if I see Eakins or Ference talk about their jogging or bike riding throughout the city one more time, while we're in the state we're currently in, I'm flying to Edmonton and starting a protest.
