Hall almost cryed in his interview after the game, bet a lot of the star players in the league are chirping them on the ice and its getting annoying. It wasn't Dubies fault at all. This team is the worst Ive seen 5 on 5 an PP. No way all these players got that much worse from last year and prier, I blame the no NHL experienced coach if there hadn't been so many failed coaches they would have fired Eakins saying he was coach 3 or 4. The oilers haven't had a experienced coach in over 10 years not saying I don't think Mact did a good job he should just coach since most of the old oilers are gone especially at the start of next year with Smyth finally hanging them up and Hemsky definitely gone Florida?. Basically anyone other the Eakins I see him as the problem. Nolan would have been good I see him doing a good job.

I feel for that young player because I've said it before: Taylor Hall is a man out there.

But the problem is that there is just nothing out there to trade for -- when the Flyers were 1-7, you would just look around the league for help and there's nobody to trade with -- I've been crying about it for years, now. GMs are so slow to make moves, or just won't pull the trigger.

The NHL has changed so much over the years. Teams hold onto every single asset like every single one of them is the clone of Mario Lemieux, and the prices you have to pay to get a player who can actually help you...it's ridiculous.

I feel for Taylor Hall, because he just wants to win games. And it's brutal, because there are so few trade options that make any kind of sense, for what you guys would have to pay, for what you need.

Gagner + 2015 2nd + Marincin + Pitlick for Mike Fisher + Colin Wilson

I don't know if that's enough but Mike Fisher would be a good vet here. Both add some heaviness into the top 9. Maybe Paul Gaustad and Colin Wilson is more likely

Gagner has a verbal no trade with MacT before his NTC kicks in next season. He's been extremely dissapointing in his few games this year, but he's going nowhere any time soon.

Same for anyone calling for Eakins head. I agree...Eakins has been horrible. That said...continuity has been a problem and Eakins has a 4 year deal. He's going nowhere either.

I can't stand looking at Ference's face. Incredibly overrated player, because of who he played for (and the system they played there). The fact that MacTavish instantly made him captain is beyond comprehension. Ference, you suck ballz and I hate you... But you still would need to figure out your defense & goaltending

Before this season started...I'd agree with them. Dubnyk crapped the bed this year. But if he had progressed like he was supposed to and had been, I really believe the team would have been fine. Miller is playing great, no doubt. But he hasn't played like this since before the Lucic incident. Nobody saw Dubnyk sinking and Miller playing stellar before this season...if anything...the opposite would have been expected by most.


Edit: And as for wishing he'd wave his no trade...I still don't think he's worth the assets Regier/his successor will be asking. So no I don't wish he'd wave his no trade.
