Did the Pens ever give a reason for sending Megna back down(other than BB and Neal getting healthy)? Megna seemed to be one of the few who was willing to go to the net regularly. Not sure that D'agostini(sp) warrants a spot on the roster over him right now. |

No I did when I got home and read the pm's complaining about him though. Guy did nothing but insult people/blogger for a week. His original ban was only 2 weeks, he can blame the other month on his 'brother'.
Insulting the man that puts alot of time and effort into producing these blogs and giving us things to talk about is a big no no. I don't care if you disagree with him but don't call him names.
That's how you get in my baaaaaaaaa'd books. - canadianpenfan
Yeah, disagreeing is one thing because everyone obviously won't agree. Ref: Yesterday. lol
So you didn't get any "surprises" in the morning eh? None that you will admit to anyways Im sure. |

I only saw him play twice before i left but i liked what I saw. Definitely liked him more than Kobasew or D'agostini. |

He actually seemed to make room for Malkin when they played together because he would take Dmen with him to the net so Malkin actually had some room when he slowed up on the halfwall carrying into the zone.
FYI--You are lucky a cursory google search didnt yield any good images of the tranny from Hangover 2 to add to the list of you, your journal, and your therapist. |

That's nothing, seriously. I saw much more disturbing things than that. Walking down the street in the go go district is enough to make you sick if you're not prepared. Don't believe me google "bangkok **x show menu".
"Sir, sir, come in my restaurant, we have everything you want."
"Watch girl write letter, watch girl open bottle, watch girl smoke cigarette."
You might think oh i've seen that before what's the big deal?
No, no you haven't. |

Yea they sure did.
"As an organization, giving a young player like Megna who has speed and plays hard, steers us away from having the most bland, nondescript, no talent 3rd line in hockey. A key ingredient that Ray and I think is very important to achieve our goal of getting bounced out of the playoffs earlier than most anticipate".
Blysma continued : "As you recall I was a no talent 4th liner with no speed who was often benched in favor of players who had some degree of skill".

I remember when the Pens dumped Zibenijad (sp?) in the following summer, I thought, "Wait, wasn't it the other guy everybody hated?" I guess somebody knew what they were doing. - BulliesPhan87
From what I remember Shero sat down with both Michalek and Martin and asked them if they wanted out. Michalek said yes and Martin said no he wanted to prove to the team that they gave him that contract for a reason. And then he went out and put his money where his mouth is. That had a lot to do with my opinion of him. Didn't take the easy way out to start over somewhere else. |

definitely. i will admit i was one of his biggest detractors. but it is night and day. his simple play is exactly what this team needs. more and more i am thinking this team would be better off jettisoning letang and filling the back end with simple, steady guys such as martin and scuderi |

I believe that is correct. In fairness to Martin, his first year was not bad. It wasn't worth 5 mil, but he played pretty well. The second year was nothing short of pure disaster.
LGP! Interested to see if Sill gets in tonight. |

Keep the puck deep boys...
Preds are doing a nice job of closing up passing lanes. I'd hope we see a bit more dump and chase because once they're possessing it their making runs. |

Nice to see Neal get on the board, and Dupes' was a Neal-esque bomb.
That was a bad too many men to miss by the zebras, all 6 Preds involved in the play in the off zone. |

I love what we are seeing from Bennett. Real happy to see Duper and Neal putting em in the back of the net, almost like a bit of foreshadowing by Gunner.
I think Geno looks 200x better with Neal out there than without him. |

Can't blame Letang directly for Maatta's giveaways but there's something to be said for a 19 yr old pressing because he has to do more than he should.
Damn what a save. |
