Ugh Couturier continuing his sparkling offensive decision making prowess.

Smart play by L Schenn; don't force a play just play it safe and let the clock run out

Couturier needs some serious work in the O zone if he ever wants to be a 50 pt guy
- Just5

Really because he just had a solid sequence of puck control there in the last minute.

I don't think the kid's as offensively inept as most make him out to be.

Some of you guys find it boring. I love it. I absolutely love this responsible hockey. I'd take a 2-1 win over 5-4 all the time

Yeah sort of like a really low scoring low hitting baseball pitcher's dual type game. I don't want to see the Flyers just sit back for the entire period though. They need more offensive pressure.

Didn't have any shot lane, and didn't force a pass that we would have crucified him over.

Tried to backhand it in deep but was foiled, then decided to control the puck for the next 5 seconds until he made a solid point pass.

What was wrong with it?

It takes a bit of getting used to after the Lavy era ... but I agree.

we can win a LOT of games by playing smart, responsible hockey.

The tuck has an arrogant quality about it, imo
- funmaster18

The full back tuck, when applied in the dressing room, yes.

Incidental tucks are a different story, though. Even the half-tuck, which Brind'Amour employed, is fine by me.

Hesitated. Slowed down. Had a clear 3-on-2 with a couple of guys driving the net.

They weren't really sitting back though they were forechecking hard...just couldn't sustain anything.

Hopefully the luck changes a little bit in the 3rd

If you call doing nothing exciting and basically blowing a line rush....turning around in a circle, getting it to the point progress. Ok.

He's young I get it, he has work to do, he's showing why he fell below a guy like Sheifele, who looked dangerous a couple times tonight.

No I know. I mean for this upcoming period. No sit back. Be proactive not reactive.

Not yet. Let's hope. There's 3 generations of Schenn's in the building.

L Schenn seems like he's been improving for a little while now. I like what I see so far but I know he has more

I think a Mason to Schenn goal is more likely.
