I mentioned this before, but what I am ticked off the most about is that in the past top skill players have usually gotten away with this stuff. Gionta, and Lucic have been mentioned. Nash last season as well. Chara gets away with murder without even a penalty. But the Leafs have now had Lupul, Kessel, Kadri, Clarkson all suspended in the last 1.5 seasons. 4 of their top 6. Name another team that has even 1 of their top six on the repeat offenders list? the only big name skill player that I can think of that has been suspended was Ovechkin.

Just want to see consistency. Did those Leaf players deserve suspension, yes. But so did those other guys, and they got nothing but a phone chat.

Seriously though, those guys play less than 3 minutes a night, what's the point in keeping them and wasting cap space on guys who can't play rather than $600,000 for a young centre who can actually play?
