Already did that...Building a new hydro gen station now that includes line link to NL/across province under ocean and over to NS..

Gives access to eastern Canada/US..Big reason is so lines will be in place for when Quebec deal expires..

Damn are destructive... May seem like a good idea at the time but rarely are. I spent a few weeks in Hudsons hope on Williston lake which is the largest lake in BC, but its really resovoir.. 7th largest dam in the world i believe.. I snapped these photos..

Shanahan is such a twat. It should have been two max. Not because thats what he deserved but because the same play has recieved ZERO games or 2 max.
- markmark

On the flip side, players have also received 3 games for making contact with the goalie playing the puck behind the net and not leaving room for opposing players to skate by.

Backstrom was in the crease and did not initiate contact with Kadri. Three games for Kadri's hit on Backstrom is entirely fair.

Unfortunate for the Leaf's centre situation, though

But hey, at least some of the wingers might get some faceoff practice...

Probably.. But mining and oil extraction is very damaging. Some gold and coal mines in BC are hard to look at. And Alberta is a wasteland of oil wells and flare stacks.. I know it'll provide jobs, but Newfoundland will lose part of its beauty and culture. And only a few will get rich. Seems like every decision made is based on profit. Your water will compromised.

Yep...Not great as they swallow up a load of land but it's still a very clean/enviro friendly way of producing Hydro...The need for hydro isn't going to go away...

I get a kick out of how on-the-nose their protest is.

Like the idea of just showing up to a game with a bag on your head isn't enough. You actually have to go to some tee shirt printer and tell him specifically to put your entire philosophy regarding the team on it in fine print.

I also love that they went through the trouble using those reusable cloth bags. "Well, honey, if we're going to go through all the trouble to do this, we may as well make them to last in case there's any doubt that I'm an UPSET FAN in the future."

They seem like the type that would be handing out literature in the intermissions.

True.. But theres other ways to produce electricity. Wind, Solar, Tidal, Geothermal... Some folks up in Churchill falls aren't to pleased with the proposals..

I just think there needs to be a balance struck that's all.. Labrador is largely unknown but if more people move there the population will grow, and the people will have to deal with the environmental impact.

On the west coast/Nothern Pen of the Island there many place where u can actually see the Oil seeping up through the ground/rock..Years ago people would get it and burn in oil lamps..

They discovered Oil field that they claim is bigger/holds more Oil than the Alberta tar sands..
The problem is it's in the shale rock and would require fracking/using very extreme methods of removing it, but supply could be one of largest in the world right now.....

Ya my dad is a fracker.. Its very damaging.. But theres absolutely no way theres more oil there than in Alberta.. It's just not even plausible. They found oil bubbling up thru the ground in Ontario too.. First discovered oil in Canada

If Patrick Kaleta had hit Bernier with an elbow, we'd be losing our minds he only got 3 games.

Dirty hit is a dirty hit.

Kadri got what he deserved.
