We lose. How sad. How many often will this team give up late goals. How deflating.

We cannot close out games!!

Might as well throw in a NTC while we're at it.

Meh, as the CBA stands 7 years under a million and he's got a spot in Utica. Not sure he'd be happy with that deal, but $6.5 million is tough to pass up.

How did they play tonight? Turned it on just to see the goal.

Luongo's lack of lateral agility is hilarious. How has he not worked on that yet...

Realistically, what's he looking for? 3-4 years, $2m per? He was making $1.6 on his previous contract, I think he's probably back to that point now.

See your doing it wrong. Play hard for ten mins and win. I call it the leaf (how the (frank) do we keep doing this) model

Not sure what makes you think I'm not reserving judgement...

Did the "still a gamble" part lead you to believe that I think he's the second coming?

All I said was that if he keeps up his play, he gets more expensive.

MG should be making some calls to his agent to test the waters.

I'm not saying he should sign him to a 7 year extension...

"Getting to the point where you have to try to lock him up for a few more years."

"Really hope Gillis doesn't sit back for too long on this"

That's what gave it away.

Look he's been a great asset and arguably the best signing for value that Gillis has ever made. Just saying we shouldn't forget he was a reclamation project for all intents and purposes and there are reasons a 27 year old might find themselves in that position.

Hawks got Versteeg at half his cap hit at 2.2 million, very nice deal.

Ouch... Tough one.

I gotta admit, Torts is probably the best thing to happen to the Canucks in years.

Tallon still on the Hawks payroll, he has to be subtle about it though.

So.

I'm saying try to get him for 1-2 more years at under $1million.

Pretty much can't lose there, since his cap won't count in Utica at that price.

I'd take him at that price tag(between 1.5-2 million per). No more NTC's though I hope.

Good point, but I bet he and his agent would rather play out the season than take that offer. Now if you offer around 1.5 million, or a bit more then I bet you have him seriously considering it right now.

Starts out based on the opposite of draft order.

Then every time a manager picks a player off of waivers, they move to the bottom of the list.

Okay I was trying to figure how Nuckers had better waiver position than I did.

He's a former Canuck and has made deals with Gillis before. Sestito, Booth, AHLberts for Barkov, Fleischmann and Huberdeau sounds reasonable.

Pretty much. To be fair the tying goal was kind of fluky, I first thought maybe it was a slap-pass, but it was just a misfire that landed right onto Couture's stick. Sharks were controlling the play in OT though, either a goal or penalty seemed inevitable.

I'm listening. Although I have no idea if my team is good enough with Stamkos to even have a shot or if I should go young. I feel like I'm stuck in the middle like a 9th place team.
