Flyers can't afford to trade Coburn at this point. He's a solid Dman at a reasonable cost. It would have to be a huge haul.

He runs so hot and cold. Frustrating

It could have been worse, you could've dreamed of that awful .gif image of Pierre Mcquire "romancing" the penguin.
- Doc_Sarcasm

After 2

London - 1
Ottawa - 3

Stolarz has 11 saves (D is not helping)

I'll say.

I'd like to see the Flyers claim Patrick Eaves on waivers from Detroit. They could basically replace Talbot for free. Good PK guy, solid 4th liner. Doesn'tt score much, but he's a smart player.

I brought it up earlier. Lukewarm at best. It would also allow the flyers to send raffl to the phantoms instead of him rotting as a scratch. Raffl needs to play

Or they could continue to give big PK minutes to giroux, and use Rinaldo out there.

I'd rather have Eaves than anyone on the current 4th line. Only concern is that he's a bit injury prone. Unconcerned with Raffl playing, although he should be playing ahead of Rosehill.

Yeah. He's only got a $1.2mm cap hit...Send down Raffl, and Eaves is only $500K or so more

Oilers offered three 2nd round picks for Braydon Coburn at the Draft and couldn't close the deal. Trades in season are much harder to make.

- JAKEw1234

There isn't a single player on my roster I want to see go unless we're getting a mega upgrade and that player being traded void will be filled. Andrej Meszaros' cannot fill the void left behind if Coburn were to be traded, nor could Hal Gill. I don't even think these to could fill the void lost of a player like Luke Schenn long term if we traded him.

Plus, it would have been really difficult to trade 6 second round picks over the next 3 seasons.

Yeah, it'd be impossible to replace a struggling, 14 minute a night, $3.5mm a year defenseman with a subpar offensive game and average-at best skating skills.
